Passeios por Great Wall of China

I had Yang as a tour guide who was great. Although the pick up from hotel was a little chaotic as the driver and I couldn’t understand each other and I wasn’t sure if this was definitely the right pick-up, when I met Yang at the coach pick-up place, her English was clear and helpful. I had a lot of questions about lunch in the itinerary and whether the cable car is necessary etc which she was able to answer. I am a fast walker but Yang explained that the cable car still is required given the time limit - it was a hot day so very appreciated. My advice to anybody visiting who enjoys hiking and is speedy, it might be possible to walk up if you skip the lunch and are relatively fit. I sweat a lot but could’ve done it if I also hadn’t booked lunch. However I found Yang very responsive and fluent in English to every question I had and for the average person I definitely recommend taking the cable car. We have not yet been to the Bird’s Nest. Thank you.

We had an absolutely incredible experience yesterday visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Ming Tombs! This tour is a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Our guide was phenomenal, with an outstanding knowledge of local history (and so much more!). He was extremely polite, patient, and always went above and beyond to answer all of our questions down to the smallest detail. Everything was perfectly organized as a complete package, meaning we didn't have to worry about a thing and managed to avoid all the long queues and hassle. Our driver was also wonderful—even though he didn't speak English, he was incredibly friendly and had a warm smile on his face the whole day. The car was spotless, comfortable, and came fully stocked with ice-cold water and plenty of delicious snacks for us to enjoy during the ride. We will definitely be recommending this tour to all of our friends and family who are planning to visit Beijing soon. Thank you for making our day so memorable and stress-free!

It was a wonderful day exploring the Great Wall with the guidance of Ms. Lucia. As I mentioned in my previous post, it's never easy to bring a family member who wanders a lot to Beijing. With a fantastic tour guide like Ms. Lucia, we were able to enjoy the experience smoothly. Travelling with family, it's always best to rely on your tour guide- someone like Ms. Lucia can provide excellent explanations and caring attention, especially when it comes to family safety. We had a great experience with our tour guide, Andy. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and fluent in both English and Mandarin, which made communication smooth and enjoyable. Andy took excellent care of our family throughout the trip and also shared insightful information about other attractions in Beijing that enriched our visit. Our driver, Mr. Sun, was equally impressive. He is a safe and reliable driver who ensured our comfort by providing bottled water and keeping the vehicle cool in the hot weather. We truly appreciated the thoughtful service from both Andy and Mr. Sun—highly recommended!

The tour guide was very enthusiastic, sharing knowledge about the Great Wall with us on the bus, encouraging our participation, giving us many useful suggestions, and clearly explaining the itinerary and many details. I booked a day tour to the Great Wall and Summer Palace through Klook this time, and the overall experience was fantastic! The itinerary was very well-planned, and transportation was convenient, saving a lot of time as I didn't have to plan the route myself. Our guide, Jessie (Ms. Yang), was professional and enthusiastic, providing detailed explanations of the historical background of the Great Wall and the Summer Palace along the way, which made the visit much more insightful. The scenery at the Great Wall was truly magnificent, even more breathtaking in person than in photos; the Summer Palace, on the other hand, was filled with the beauty of classical gardens, with its picturesque lake and mountains being very relaxing. The timing of the entire tour was perfectly managed, not too rushed, and there was ample time for photos and independent exploration. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing for the first time. It offers great value for money and deserves a five-star rating!

We absolutely loved our Great Wall and Summer Palace and Great Wall tour organized by BUSTA and Yoyo. The experience was seamless, and Yoyo’s explanations of the history made everything come alive. Her knowledge and friendliness added so much to the day. A perfect 10/10 from us — highly recommended!
