Great value for money, the scenery is beautiful and comfortable. Although the journey was long, the driver drove steadily, and the local guide explained the attractions clearly and took good care of the passengers, even proactively helping everyone take photos! Their smiles and attitudes were excellent. Highly commendable. Although the lunch break provided midway felt a bit rushed, the food quality was good. The only drawback was that the Wi-Fi on the tour bus wasn't working that day.

At 07:45, gather in front of the station where several tour buses will be parked. Look for the bus with "VISIT METEORA" on its side, confirm your name with the driver, and then you can board. The tour guide will only appear in Kalambaka. We will visit three monasteries in total (we'll only know which three on the day, as monasteries take turns closing for rest) and three or four photo stops. The itinerary is very smooth, and we'll return to the station around 10:30 PM. It's a super rich day trip, five-star rating!

Getting to Meteora is one problem, but visiting the monasteries without a rental car is almost impossible, so I thought a tour was the answer. The four-hour one-way journey was truly difficult, and since many monasteries close at 2 PM in winter, we went expecting to visit three as advertised, but in reality, we could only enter two. However, since my stamina isn't great, even if we could have entered three, I probably would have skipped one, so visiting only two wasn't an issue. If I were to visit again, I'd prefer a tour of more than one day rather than a day trip. I recommend a tour of more than one day to others who read this review. Although there were no problems with viewing due to the efficient itinerary, the time spent there was too short to fully experience Meteora's solemn atmosphere.

It's a long journey, but the views are spectacular. There are steps to climb, but they're not too tough. There's ample time for each visit. It's better to opt for a package with lunch, as there are no other restaurants available at the pit stop. And keep checking prices – I managed to cancel and book one with lunch for just a nominal increase. Otherwise, it's at least 15-20 euros. The monastery will provide scarves/skirts for ladies, even if you're wearing long pants. Lastly, perhaps because it's not peak season, finding the right buses at the gathering point isn't as chaotic as others experienced. The driver drives safely, and the guide is friendly.
