After the bus arrived at Larissa Station, it was easy to find the bus as shown in the picture. The guide was kind and cheerfully explained a lot of information, and I was able to gain a lot of insights. You can choose to pay the entrance fee and enter the three monasteries, or not; it's optional. I highly recommend visiting the last monastery, St. Stephen's. It was great that we stopped at various spots along the way so we could take pictures. Lunch was delicious, and water is provided after arriving in Meteora, so it would be good to bring water to drink during the journey before that.

The views of Meteora far exceeded my expectations. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the monasteries perched atop the towering rock formations make this a truly unforgettable destination. It’s definitely worth the visit. The only downside is that, because Meteora is quite remote, the time allocated for each monastery is rather short. I would have loved to spend more time exploring and appreciating each one.

Wonderful and unique Meteora landscape. We will visit 3 monasteries, each costing 5 Euro per person. There will be a long transport time, but we will have lunch and dinner breaks.

J'ai passé une journée incroyable à Météores. Les vues étaient absolument époustouflantes et uniques. Notre guide, Katarina, était fantastique – compétente, amicale et a rendu toute l'expérience encore plus agréable. Le seul inconvénient était que le wifi pendant le transfert n'était pas stable. À part cela, tout était magnifique. Je recommande vivement ce voyage si vous visitez la Grèce !

Stunning rock formations and beautiful scenery, with a unique monastery built on top of the rocks. It's a physically demanding trip with many stairs, going up and down. Make sure to train your leg strength before participating!

The tour was a pleasant experience. The meeting point was quite easy to find. The bus ride was comfortable. Be prepared to do some climbing to enter the monasteries, though!

The transportation is convenient; you can find the tour bus right across the street from the station. Although the guide spoke English throughout, you could feel their passion and detailed explanations 👍👍👍. The only drawback is that you need to be careful when using the restroom at the restaurant, as the lock on the door isn't very sturdy!

At 07:45, gather in front of the station where several tour buses will be parked. Look for the bus with "VISIT METEORA" on its side, confirm your name with the driver, and then you can board. The tour guide will only appear in Kalambaka. We will visit three monasteries in total (we'll only know which three on the day, as monasteries take turns closing for rest) and three or four photo stops. The itinerary is very smooth, and we'll return to the station around 10:30 PM. It's a super rich day trip, five-star rating!

The travel time was quite long. The tour guide diligently explained the terrain, told us the best spots for photos, and made the historical explanations very interesting.

This one-day tour involves an early start and late return, with eight hours of travel time, so you really need to be mentally prepared. This leaves only about three hours for sightseeing. One point to note is that there was no tour guide or commentary upon boarding the bus, so we had no idea what was happening.
