Overall, it was a smooth experience. The views were breathtaking, and the monasteries were fantastic. The local guide was also very good. Bottled water was provided after we reached the destination (over 4 hours).

After the bus arrived at Larissa Station, it was easy to find the bus as shown in the picture. The guide was kind and cheerfully explained a lot of information, and I was able to gain a lot of insights. You can choose to pay the entrance fee and enter the three monasteries, or not; it's optional. I highly recommend visiting the last monastery, St. Stephen's. It was great that we stopped at various spots along the way so we could take pictures. Lunch was delicious, and water is provided after arriving in Meteora, so it would be good to bring water to drink during the journey before that.

It was a long 4hr+ drive but very well worth it! The monasteries were so scenic and beautiful, and truly worthy of their Unesco label

Wonderful and unique Meteora landscape. We will visit 3 monasteries, each costing 5 Euro per person. There will be a long transport time, but we will have lunch and dinner breaks.

The transportation is convenient; you can find the tour bus right across the street from the station. Although the guide spoke English throughout, you could feel their passion and detailed explanations 👍👍👍. The only drawback is that you need to be careful when using the restroom at the restaurant, as the lock on the door isn't very sturdy!

The views of Meteora far exceeded my expectations. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the monasteries perched atop the towering rock formations make this a truly unforgettable destination. It’s definitely worth the visit. The only downside is that, because Meteora is quite remote, the time allocated for each monastery is rather short. I would have loved to spend more time exploring and appreciating each one.

Stunning rock formations and beautiful scenery, with a unique monastery built on top of the rocks. It's a physically demanding trip with many stairs, going up and down. Make sure to train your leg strength before participating!

For the pick-up location in Athens, it would be helpful to have a reference image. The journey was smooth, but the weather wasn't great; Meteora was occasionally visible and occasionally hidden in the fog, which was a bit of a shame. There are three monasteries that you can enter and pay to visit, and you can decide on the spot whether you want to go inside.

Had a pleasant experience with the tour. Meet up point is pretty easy to find. Bus ride was comfortable. be prepared to do some climbing to enter the monasteries though!

Sehr lange Reise nach Meteora, aber ich habe im Bus ein tolles Nickerchen gemacht! Die Klöster waren so erstaunlich! Fühlte sich überteuert an für die 15 Euro, die für den Eintritt in die Klöster bezahlt wurden.
