Shapotou combines the vast desert, the Yellow River, and an oasis, offering thrilling activities like sandboarding, off-roading, and camel riding. This journey had the vastness of the wilderness, the romance of the starry sky, and the warmth of everyday life, making it well worth the special trip. Not only were the landscapes of this Ningxia trip stunning, but the driver and guide services and itinerary arrangements throughout were also exceptionally comfortable and deserve high praise! They were professional and thoughtful, providing detailed and thorough explanations, from the history of the attractions to practical tips, ensuring everything was clear. They were patient and responsible throughout, making me feel completely secure. The driver drove smoothly, was familiar with the roads, provided punctual pick-ups and drop-offs, and ensured safe travel, making the journey comfortable and worry-free. The itinerary was well-planned and efficient, neither rushed nor chaotic, with a perfect pace that allowed for free exploration without the need to meticulously plan. Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable experience, an absolutely wonderful journey!

Accommodation options: Hotel rooms in Yinchuan city are very spacious, and there's a partition door between the bathroom/shower and the bed, making it family-friendly for putting children to sleep. The overall service at Star Hotel is excellent, especially considering the price; they provide free sandboards and sand toys, so children are reluctant to leave. Downsides: There are relatively few bed rails in hotels in Yinchuan city. The heating in the Star Hotel restaurant is too strong and warm, making it a bit inconvenient to put on and take off clothes when entering and exiting. Tour Guide: Our tour guide, Brother Kang, was excellent, very patient with children, who all loved following him; his arrangements were thoughtful, and communication was timely. The guide at Western Xia Tombs was very professional and attentive to all aspects. Attractions: Winter is the off-season, so most restaurants at Shapotou Scenic Area are closed, with only snacks available. If you're traveling with young children, it's advisable to bring extra dry food. Itinerary: The arrangements were suitable and perfect for families with children.
