Our guide, Ms. Shion, was amazing! She is very enthusiastic and engaging. The walk covers quite a lot at a good pace, but we didn't spot any maiko or geisha, which was my main objective. I wonder if the route could be reversed so there's a higher chance of spotting the talented artists in the Gion district?

Aye was an absolutely amazing tour guide at Nijo Castle! He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating details about the castle, its history, and features that we never would have noticed on our own. I had previously visited Nijo Castle without a guide, and I can honestly say that this experience was 100% better. I learned so much and walked away with a completely new appreciation for the castle and its history. On top of being an excellent guide, Aye was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. When it started to rain during our tour, he even offered to get umbrellas for us! It was such a kind gesture and really showed how much he cares about the people on his tours. I cannot recommend Aye enough. If you’re visiting Nijo Castle in Kyoto, having him as your guide makes the experience so much more meaningful and memorable. Thank you, Aye, for such a wonderful tour!

（Tour Guide）Our guides can switch between Chinese, Japanese, and English, and we also have Korean-speaking partners to ensure every group member is well taken care of. You can hear the origins and stories of each attraction without having to research them yourself, which is a major benefit 😂. We offer pre-ordered lunch, allowing more time to explore Kiyomizu-dera Temple and its surroundings, and the food is quite good. The itinerary is well-arranged within the limited time (however, if you prefer to savor things slowly and spend more time taking photos, this tour might not be suitable, as the time allocated for Fushimi Inari Shrine is not enough to walk through the entire Senbon Torii!). (Tour Bus) The bus was clean and tidy, and the ride was very smooth. I tend to get motion sickness easily and usually sleep on the bus, but I didn't wake up due to poor driving.

This was such a great tour! Reon was our guide and he was fantastic. He walked at a good pace, had a picture book to show us everything he was talking about, and knew so much about the topics he was discussing. He was able to answer all our questions. A very exciting part was that we got to see a geisha in training (Maiko) walk by, and it brought everything to life. Reon was quick to point her out so we didn’t miss the moment. Great tour, lots of really cool information, and not difficult walking. Would highly recommend. It was awesome seeing Kyoto at night!

We were Group 3, participating on 9/22! This was truly one of the most satisfying parts of our trip 😊 Thanks to our guide, Mr. Oh Seok-bong, it felt like much more than just a sightseeing tour—we left with a deep understanding of Japan. Even while traveling on the bus, he tirelessly shared so much useful information for our actual trip, including Japanese culture, daily life tips, local restaurants, and shopping lists 🚌📌 Rather than the obvious information easily found on the internet, much of the content was immediately applicable on the ground, which was very helpful for our subsequent independent travel. I especially remember him telling us, "Don't buy souvenirs here, they're expensive. Go to Don Quijote and buy them there" 😂 It felt like he was looking out for the travelers' wallets, which was both amusing and appreciated 💸 Both the sightseeing schedule and the explanations were wonderful, and even after the tour ended, he told us to contact him anytime if we needed restaurant reservations. He even said that if we return to Japan after going back to Korea, we could contact him without any conditions, and that he would help if any issues arose during our trip, which made us feel really supported 🙏 Often, relationships end once a one-day tour is over, so his ongoing care left a particularly strong impression. We were fully satisfied with the sightseeing, the information, and the kindness, and he is a guide we would love to meet again on our next trip to Japan. If you're planning a leisurely trip to Kyoto, one that isn't rushed and allows you to deeply experience the beauty of Kyoto's mountains, forests, and ancient temples, I truly highly recommend this tour! 🌿 I especially want to give a strong recommendation to tour guide Wang Zhaoyu! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you only speak Chinese, there's absolutely no need to worry. Mr. Wang speaks Chinese very fluently, and his professionalism was evident from the day before the meeting. The day before, I couldn't find the meeting point, so I called the guide on a whim, and to my surprise, he not only answered immediately but also patiently helped me step-by-step. This level of service alone deserves a five-star rating! Throughout the entire trip, Mr. Wang's explanations were clear, and he was friendly and approachable. His driving skills were also incredibly impressive; despite being very prone to motion sickness, I didn't feel sick at all. His driving was smooth and comfortable, allowing everyone to safely enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The itinerary was also excellent, very suitable as an introductory tour for these attractions. It not only allows you to quickly understand the characteristics of each spot but also helps you identify which places best suit your preferences. If you find a particularly favorite spot, you'll have a better direction for planning a deeper, self-guided exploration next time. For a one-day tour, this pace is very comfortable, suitable for companions who walk slower, with ample time reserved at each attraction to experience the charming blend of Kyoto's mountains, ancient temples, and streams. It's a route I highly recommend. 🍃 Nanzen-ji Temple boasts a solemn and ancient temple atmosphere, complemented by the famous Suirokaku aqueduct, where history and nature perfectly merge, offering different charms in each season. Eikan-do Temple is renowned for its autumn foliage, and although this wasn't the maple leaf season, the tranquil and elegant garden still had a unique charm, each with its own beauty. 🍃 Sanzen-in Temple is filled with a strong sense of Zen, with its quiet and healing moss garden. Strolling through it instantly calms the mind. This time, I was also lucky enough to catch an exhibition by Professor Kumiko Minami (on its last day), adding an unexpected surprise to the trip. 🚃 Although the Eizan Electric Railway (Takaragaike Station – Kurama Station) doesn't have the spectacular autumn maple tunnel, the summer's lush green mountains and the fresh, healing scenery along the way showcase another kind of vibrant Kyoto landscape. ⛩️ What's most unforgettable about Kifune Shrine are the red lanterns neatly arranged on both sides of the approach, looking especially dreamy against the green backdrop. Although I didn't experience Kawadoko cuisine this time, just seeing the Kawadoko landscape built along the stream deeply conveyed the unique charm of Kyoto's summer. Overall, this was a relaxed, stress-free, in-depth trip to Kyoto, where there was no constant rushing, but rather a genuine opportunity to slow down and experience the beauty created by the intertwining of mountains, ancient temples, and streams. If you're still hesitating whether to join, I truly recommend choosing tour guide Wang Zhaoyu; he is professional, friendly, meticulous, and reliable, and will definitely enhance your Kyoto trip!
