Dongdaemun's SPALEX is the best! It's cheap, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is also incredibly easy to find. Dongdaemun Design Plaza is right across the street. You can find it immediately by taking the elevator down to the 3rd basement floor of the building. It's a good idea to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and scrubbing towel, as they are not provided. If you forget, it's convenient that they are sold at the entrance. For women, mugwort steaming is highly recommended! It costs 2000 yen. It feels incredibly good and makes you sweat a lot. After that, a body scrub is the best! On the 4th basement floor, there's also a food court, a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna), and a resting area where you can relax. Going in the morning is recommended as it's less crowded.

Best last day spent in Seoul getting pampered before going back to daily life. The therapist kneaded all parts of my body to the max and the knots on my back like it personally offended her😂 I felt 10x lighter after the treatment.

There's a self-service ticket machine (with Chinese language option) next to the lobby on the 9th floor. The bathhouse only provides soap, and the hairdryer costs 200 Korean Won for 180 seconds of use. On the 8th floor, there's a food court (with self-ordering kiosks) and a public lounge area. The overall environment is very clean, and it wasn't crowded or noisy on the day I visited, making it very peaceful.

I had such a relaxing experience at Eco Jardin Spa in Seoul. The space itself is really nice and calming, and the whole treatment felt super refreshing. I originally planned to do the 15-step scalp treatment, but ended up upgrading to the 18-step since I’m in Korea and wanted the full experience, especially because my hair is dyed and needed a little extra care. Honestly, I’m glad I did it. The 18-step felt really thorough and left my scalp feeling super clean and my hair soft and refreshed. The only thing that felt a little iffy was the pricing. The base treatment is already on the higher side, and the add-ons for extra hair treatments can get pretty expensive quickly, so just be prepared to spend a lot here. Overall though, it was a great experience and definitely worth trying at least once if you’re in Korea and want a full scalp care moment

On the day of my reservation, I was heading to the salon by taxi, but I got caught in a traffic jam and realized I would be significantly late. When I contacted the staff, they kindly agreed to change my reservation to the next day. The 60-minute full-body aroma course was perfect for relaxation, and I was very satisfied. I will definitely use this service again when I come to Korea. Thank you very much.

I had the most amazing massage from Sujin-nim masseur. Her technique is on point, very different from the run of the mill massages i had. Her knowledge of the anatomy is evident in her massage. Highly recommend.
