Coisas para fazer em Swan Valley

Although we visited many places in one day, and I understand that everyone has different preferences and we couldn't stay longer at places I liked, I was mostly satisfied with the itinerary. The hotel pick-up was very convenient, lunch was delicious, and the location was great. On this day, we encountered a major storm in Southwest Australia, which happens once every five years. The car felt very unstable on the highway, but fortunately, our guide Cindy was experienced and completed the entire trip smoothly!

Tim picked us up at Barrack Square Jetty Pier No 4 - which was clearly informed and fairly on time. The van was comfortable. He also provided bottled water. Loved the fact that Tim had worked in Caversham Wildlife Park before that the entire trip within was on spot on time and well prepared (hint: a bag of food pellets to feed the kangaroos and other animals). We had our lunch at Mandoon Estate where we opted for vegetarian food. Food was served quick and hot and delicious. Next we continued our journey to Margaret River Chocolate Company - Tim gave us some chocolates for free tasting, bought some as souvenirs. Later we were visited the Scarborough Beach which was amazing as the weather was very good as well. And we end our trip to Kings Park, stroll around, took a few memorable pics. Overall, this kinda group tour is expected to be a bit rushed, but served our objectives for the day.

We were able to enter the zoo before it opened and see animals like koalas up close, and take photos, with only our tour members. Although it was an English tour, the driver was friendly and made announcements in a loud voice, so the English was easy to understand. We were on the same bus as other Japanese tour groups. For lunch, you can upgrade fish to lobster for an additional AUD25. It was very windy, and on the sand dunes for sandboarding, the wind was strong and sand was blowing, so sunglasses are a must. It was a fun tour.

A pleasant trip to Swan Valley, starting with a river cruise, wine tasting, and lunch from Perth. Afterwards, more wine tasting at two wineries, a visit to a chocolate shop, and a beer with fries at a brewery. It's definitely a trip for wine lovers. We tasted more than 12 wines.

Everything was well organised from start to finish, making the day very relaxing and enjoyable. We visited Sandalford Wines and had a lovely wine tasting experience, followed by sweet and delightful stops at Margaret River Chocolate Factory, Yahava Koffeeworks, Mondo Nougat, and The House of Honey. Each place was unique and enjoyable, and there was enough time to look around and savour each stop. The tour guide was friendly and very kind which made the experience even better. We requested to drop us off in Kings Park after the tour and he didn’t hesitate to accept our request. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a pleasant and memorable day in Swan Valley.
