Tour pelo Deserto de Pinnacles, Yanchep e Swan Valley

Today, our family was incredibly lucky to meet a very nice tour guide. It didn't rain at any of the attractions, and we saw two koalas and many kangaroos at Nambung National Park. The Pinnacles Desert had wonderful clear weather, giving us a full hour to take photos. For lunch, we had fish & chips, and one portion was upgraded to lobster & chips, though the fish & chips were still tastier. In Swan Valley, it was simply a self-guided tasting tour. The guide introduced us to various landscapes and changes along the way, which was fantastic. After the tour ended and we got off the bus, my children were still reluctantly waving goodbye to the guide.

The one-day itinerary felt a bit loose; both stops in Swan Valley were just for shopping. In Yanchep National Park, kangaroos were everywhere, but koalas were few. The Pinnacles Desert was smaller than expected. The fish and chips for lunch were quite good, but upgrading to the lobster set meal cost dozens of extra Australian dollars. The seaside scenery was nice. The driver and guide were very professional and attentive.

The tour started at 8 AM. Everyone was picked up from their Perth hotels and taken to Crown Towers, where we then split into different coaches. Our guide was friendly but a bit disorganized. The itinerary first included a visit to a park to see koalas and kangaroos, but unfortunately, the directions were unclear, and we got a bit lost, so we didn't end up seeing any kangaroos. Next, we went to the Pinnacles, which was the highlight of the trip. The drive was about two and a half hours, but we only stayed for 45 minutes, which felt a bit rushed. Lunch was at the Lobster Shack, which felt a bit commercialized. Upgrading lunch cost an additional A$25, and the lobster quality was just average. I'd suggest not bothering with the upgrade; the standard fish and chips were also quite ordinary. After lunch, we returned to Perth city and visited a chocolate shop in Swan Valley. Although it was called a factory, it was essentially just a shopping spot. We arrived back in Perth around 5:30 PM. The entire trip involved a lot of time spent driving, and not much time actually seeing the sights. The value for money was a bit low. The driver/guide seemed to be in a hurry and would get annoyed if we were even slightly late getting back on the bus.

The tour guide, Beck, was knowledgeable and friendly, providing fascinating insights at every stop. We were given ample time to explore the landmarks. Overall, it was a memorable trip.

Our driver and guide was very kind and explained things clearly to us, even though we are not native English speakers. It was a tour where we could experience the nature of Western Australia, visiting places like Yanchep National Park, where we saw kangaroos and koalas up close, and the Pinnacles, which felt like being on another planet. The fish and chips for lunch could be upgraded to lobster for an additional charge. It was very delicious.

The activities at Yanchep National Park and Swan Valley were quite disappointing, serving only as a toilet break. At Yanchep, there was only one koala hidden in a tree, looking like a suspicious animal-like object. It was more disappointing to only visit the toffee and chocolate shops in Swan Valley and not the wineries. The Pinnacles were just okay. What's worth praising is the tour guide and driver; he explained the history of the attractions in detail throughout the trip, was very enthusiastic, and took good care of the tour members.

The tour bus has a restroom and mobile phone charging. The driver was very enthusiastic, started on time, and arrived at the hotel on time.

Excellent itinerary to catch a few interesting spots. We saw 2 koalas and lots of kangaroos at park. Lobster Shack lunch was great and they even had a guide tour to explain the whole business. The desert was a sight to be seen but I wished I'd gone for the stargazing tour instead. Chocolate factory had lots of different treats. Paul was the perfect guide throughout, giving interesting commentary about the history and interesting spots.
