A great way to explore Rottnest Island! The 90-minute ferry ride was comfortable, and the Discovery bus tour covered many scenic spots around the island. The guide, Eli, was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts along the journey. I loved the coastal views at West End. This is a convenient option if you want to see the island without cycling around.

Rottnest Island is a must-go in Perth. Simply show the QR code from the confirmation email at Jetty to get on the cruise. From Perth, you need to change to another cruise at Northport. The waves can be quite rocky. The 90-minute bus tour is informative, but do note that it’s not a hop-on-hop-off bus, so you can only get off at West End for a quick visit and get back on. You may find some of the Quokkas around the restaurants.

The guided tour around the island was a very good choice. The guide, Malcolm, was very detailed in his commentary and I learned a lot from him. It will be a much better option than cycling, especially if you're not a very strong cyclist.

We love this trip. We board at 9:30 AM, and the bus departs at 1:30 PM, returning to Fremantle at 4:30 PM. We arrive in Fremantle at 5:05 PM. This trip offers a great experience; we can enjoy a wonderful brunch on the island, take a nap, and then start the bus tour. If you are unable to walk or ride a bicycle, this would be an excellent choice.

If you're visiting Perth for the first time, this is a must-do. The guided bus tour and train ride offer a fantastic experience. Enjoy scenic views and take photos with the adorable Quokkas! However, please note that the itinerary stated in this Klook package is not entirely accurate. The boat will depart from Rottnest at 4:30 PM, not the stipulated 11:00 AM. Be prepared to spend almost a full day on the island. It's definitely worth it!

Eli was the host and Cos was the driver. Eli explained so well on the ecology and the history/stories of the Rottnest Island that I don't want to leave in the afternoon. Cos was a safe driver. Thumbs up to both! BTW, love the quokka!

If you're in Perth, don't miss this. I arrived early at the Jetty to give myself time to exchange my voucher for tickets for my two-way journey and the bus tour. There are many options to get around the island, but the easiest way is to take the bus tour. I took the 1.5-hour bus tour. After the tour, you are free to roam around, but make sure you are at the port at least 20 minutes before departure. I walked to Pinky Beach, which is less than 1km one way. Quokkas are so cute. I have lots of pictures and videos of them. The ferry trip took an hour and a half one way (1 hour Swan River trip and 30 minutes Indian Ocean trip). You can literally feel the fast journey of the ferry while in the ocean. If you have seasickness, please bring your medication. The staff can provide seasickness bags; they are roaming around the ferry. Amazingly, we saw two dolphins following our ferry in the Swan River.
