Passeios por Sayram Lake

More than a week passed quickly. This was my first trip to Northern Xinjiang, and the itinerary included Urumqi-Altay-Kanas-Hemu-Sayram Lake. The pick-up and drop-off service was very comprehensive, and I was very satisfied with the accommodation arrangements. Many thanks to Master Guo Jing! He was very familiar with the routes between attractions and cities, drove very steadily, and also reminded us to pay attention to the scenery and animals. He thoughtfully prepared snacks, yogurt, and hot water. The 7-seater car was also very comfortable, and the heated and massage seats were great for winter travel! Master Guo Jing's drone photography was also amazing! He also took great care of me, who was traveling alone and joined a group, haha~ I will definitely come back to Xinjiang again!

这次北疆之旅真的太开心太舒心了，必须好好夸夸马小乐师傅和旅行管家小付，两个人都超级靠谱超级贴心！ 一路上小乐师傅真的照顾得我们无微不至，上下车主动帮我们搬行李，不管东西多不多都特别积极，人超级好。每到一个酒店，他都会特意帮我们检查房间里的设备，看看有没有问题，确认没问题才放心让我们住，细节真的拉满，安全感直接爆棚！ 小乐性格也特别棒，开朗又热情，一路上有说有笑，气氛特别好，完全不会尴尬无聊。还特别热心地帮我们拍了好多好看的照片 没到一个地点都会给我们推荐了好多本地人都去吃的美食、好玩的地方！ 必须还要夸夸旅行管家小付，真的太细心太暖心了！一路上一直给我们发各种实用的旅游小贴士，时刻关心我们，还会提前提醒我们当地的温度变化，让我们及时增减衣服，特别周到。 我们在旅途住宿上遇到问题的时候，小付反应特别快，第一时间就帮我们联系当地的住宿，耐心帮我们沟通、了解情况，处理得又及时又稳妥，全程都在为我们着想！ 好幸运这趟旅程能遇到小乐师傅和贴心的管家小付，这趟旅行玩得特别放松、特别开心！下次大草原之旅我还要相约他们在北疆！！

Team leader Yang Wei is absolutely amazing! Incredibly, super good!!! He helped us carry all our messy luggage, drove very steadily with no discomfort at all along the way, took us to clean restrooms, and on top of the itinerary, he would tell us where the scenery was less crowded and more beautiful. He took really great photos for us, and knowing we were from Guangdong, he quietly adjusted the music playlist to be younger and more Cantonese. On the last day, he even remembered our coffee preferences and treated us to coffee (so touching, TUT) and drinks! He took care of us subtly and thoughtfully throughout the trip. We are truly, truly, truly grateful! The overall itinerary was reasonable, and all items mentioned in the booking were fulfilled. There was one night where the local travel agency made a mistake with the accommodation, but they provided compensation. We hope future arrangements will be more meticulous.

The trip was excellent with a well-planned itinerary that was both relaxing and enjoyable. Special thanks were given to the assistant for detailed explanations and to the guide/driver/photographer, Xiao Ma, for his professional, thoughtful, and caring service throughout. However, the pre-arranged transfer on the first day was highly inefficient. My original hotel and the pre-booked tour hotel were only about 20 steps apart. Instead of simply directing me to walk over, I was made to wait for 30 minutes for a guide to escort me that short distance. Furthermore, the tour hotel, "Secret [Something]" (advertised as 4-star), operated more like a 2-star property. Smoking was pervasive in the lobby, and my room had a severe privacy issue: the window opened onto an internal corridor that, despite supposedly being locked, was accessible to strangers who peered into my room. Also, do check if you need to pay for Rmb 2k/pax as deposit and rmb 280/pax for clothing/helmet/gloves including turtles

An unforgettable Xinjiang trip. The 8-day Northern Xinjiang tour included thoughtful airport pick-up and drop-off arrangements by the travel agency. The itinerary was packed, covering attractions such as Altay - Hemu (Ahe Highway) - Kanas - Karamay - Sayram Lake. The seven-seater tour vehicle was very comfortable, reducing the fatigue of long journeys. The accommodation for this group was also upgraded, with satisfactory hotels and room types. Many thanks to our Uyghur driver, Master Abudu, for his very steady driving skills and his attentive care for us girls.
