Coisas para fazer em Guri Traditional Market

My 18yr old daughter and I decided to do this painting class together and I’m so glad we did! Location was easy to find - on the right side of the eMart24 is a door and it’s on the 2nd floor. The studio is bright and inviting. The teacher has many years of experience with Minhwa painting and was very patient, knowledgeable, and kind. She was also very flexible with changing our original choice of painting and gave us explanations of the symbolic meanings behind each original piece. We had about 2.5 hrs to finish our paintings which is the minimum I would allocate for this in order to best enjoy the experience. I had time to browse some of her paintings she had on display at the studio and was immediately drawn to two that I ended up taking home :) Out of all the things we did in the month we were in Korea, this was definitely one of our favorite memories!!

Começando pelos pontos negativos, isto é, a localização: fica realmente muito longe do centro de Seul. A partir do nosso hotel (Myeongdong), demorou mais de uma hora para chegar ao parque. Além disso, o show é inteiramente em coreano e, embora seja fornecido um aplicativo web para tradução, este último deixa bastante a desejar. Apesar de tudo, ainda merece 5 estrelas porque ver robôs dançando melhor do que muitos seres humanos é incrível. Há outras atividades relacionadas (por exemplo, pilotar um cão-robô), um parque bem grande e duas opções de alimentação, com destaque para a cafeteria onde as bebidas são servidas por um braço robótico.

This was such a wonderful experience! the atmosphere was light and welcoming. Our session started off with background information about the art style and the materials used. As we were painting, the teacher was very helpful and gave clear instructions. She also chatted with us while we were painting or when we were waiting for our paint to dry. I would love to go back and painting again :)
