Passeios por Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama

Our tour guide Frederick was great!! He kept everyone safe and explained everything in great detail. The day went smoothly and he was considerate with our tour timing because of the blazing heat. Would recommend!! 👍👍👍

This is a must do when in Kyoto and have little time. My 70 year old mon and I joined tour. Majo and Tim were just fantastic! We saw 3 major, incredible Kyoto sites, received macha ice cream, tasted saki, and took several photos. My mom did the hike to Iwatayama mountain, bring good shoes, water. Luckily we had the best weather. Wouldn’t recommend in high, hot temperatures for children and elderly.

A great and fun tour. Valerie was incredibly nice, informational, fun and helpful. The tour is really worth it. You can see all the spots with the tour which alone would take too much time and public transport (if you're not going with a car). It'd be a good idea to add 1 more hour for Arashiyama since there are a lot of things to see there. Further up the bamboo forest, there is an entrance to a big garden. The fee isn't too much and it's absolutely worth it cos you can spend so so much time exploring here since there are many paths to see and right at the beginning (or after you come back around to the entrance point again) there is a rest stop where you have free teas to try (hot and cold), matcha, cold water and calpis (a drink with lactic acid). You can sit there comfortably, have refills. That was a great experience and there aren't many people there so you can remove yourself from the noise and crowds.

The trip was very amazing, especially with "VALERIE" our guide. She was very professional and took care of all group members. This tour was so peaceful and one of my best. There is a lot of walking but worth every step. The serenity of this tour is amazing. Every sight is breathtaking and the guide, Time had so much knowledge. The monkey farm was a hike, but the view from the top was amazing and the monkeys were adorable. A must do tour.
