Passeios por My Son Sanctuary

I had really wanted to visit the My Son Sanctuary during my stay in Hoi An, but I was worried it might be difficult to manage as a solo traveler—until I found this tour. I believe the drive took about 50 minutes each way. Once at the My Son Sanctuary, there was quite a bit of walking involved. I’m used to physical activity, so it wasn't a problem for me, but those who aren't confident in their stamina might find it tiring. Also, even on the earliest tour, the sun was strong and I was sweating profusely, so I felt I made the right choice by not picking the 8:00am or afternoon slots. As for the ruins themselves—the main event—they were far more mystical and moving than I had imagined! No matter how hot it gets or how much you sweat, they are absolutely worth seeing. Our guide was Lucky; despite his youth, he was incredibly personable, attentive to all ten participants, and provided clear, engaging explanations throughout the tour.

It was easy to communicate before departure, and the guide on the day spoke excellent Japanese, providing us with a lot of valuable information! We participated with our 6-year-old son, who enjoyed it in his own way, and our elementary school-aged daughter was very interested in hearing about Vietnam's history and carefully exploring the ruins! The lunch was also delicious. Thank you very much.

Excellent half day tour at a fantastic price! My tour guide Lee was friendly and funny and had amazing knowledge of My Son (and Hoi An). My Son itself was so interesting; the traditional dance performance was wonderful; the homestyle lunch was delicious; and the boat ride back to Hoi An was relaxing and enjoyable. Driver arrived on time and was a very safe driver. Complementary water was provided. It is VERY hot in Hoi An this time of year (mid July), so be sure to bring hat, sunscreen, etc. Highly recommended tour!

My Son Sanctuary and the Marble Mountains are definitely worth visiting! especially with a great guide like Kim! Ms. Kim was knowledgeable and gave us fascinating insights into the history, geography, and local culture of the places we visited. Her detailed explanations helped us understand so much more about the stories and history behind what we were seeing, and made the whole experience much more meaningful. This was our first time in Da Nang, and the tour left us with wonderful memories. We really enjoyed every moment and hope to come back again to explore more of this beautiful part of Vietnam. We had a great experience with this tour. The private transfer was comfortable, everything was well organized, and having the flexibility of a private tour made a huge difference. We were able to explore the entire sanctuary at our own pace, take photos wherever we wanted, and never waste time waiting for a large group. The only minor point was that our guide’s English could have been better. However, this seems to be more of a local challenge than an issue with the tour itself. If we could change one thing, we would start even earlier. When we arrived, the site was still relatively quiet, but within 30–40 minutes it became much more crowded. We’d recommend leaving around 6:30–7:00 AM to enjoy the best experience. My Son Sanctuary is an incredible place and definitely worth visiting. We highly recommend this tour!

This was a truly wonderful tour! Our guide, Hien, spoke excellent Japanese and guided us smoothly from the meeting time until the end of the tour. Her explanations at the historical sites were very clear, and she even shared some comical jokes. When it started raining, she thoughtfully offered us an umbrella. After the tour, she suggested an itinerary and took us to a souvenir shop where we could buy gifts and a delicious pho restaurant. The driving was also very smooth, allowing us to travel comfortably without getting carsick. It was truly a great memory, thank you very much!

I had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Mr Long! Our ride was smooth and driver was very accommodating. Mr Long was very informative, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire tour. The weather was quite rainy, but he still made sure we were comfortable and helped us navigate around safely. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I was a bit nervous about the tour on the last day of our trip, but thanks to our kind and attentive driver, it turned out to be the best tour of our entire vacation. We were able to explore My Son Sanctuary at our own pace and enjoy sightseeing in Hoi An. I had some concerns about the meeting arrangements, but the driver's clear and helpful explanations put me at ease. It was also wonderful that they always greeted us with a smile at every meeting point. We had the best time and made wonderful memories on this fantastic tour on the final day of our trip.
