Passeios por Oirase Gorge

Mr. Fujii, our driver, was very conscientious and responsible, good at communication, and skilled in driving. He patiently shared information with us. The friends in our small group were also very harmonious and friendly. Mr. Fujii would carefully remind us about icy or deeply snow-covered roads, and fellow group members also helped each other. We were very lucky that when we arrived at Mount Hakkoda, there weren't many people, so the waiting time for the ropeway was very short. The scenery was indeed beautiful, and it was also very cold. The night before, it had been raining and sleeting in Aomori, and we had prepared for the possibility of the ropeway being closed and our itinerary changing. However, we were very fortunate to have a bright, sunny day the next day. During our Oirase Stream sightseeing, Mr. Fujii also used a translator to tell us the differences in the scenery under various conditions. Finally, catching a stunning sunset on the sleepy return journey was an unforgettable experience (he even made a heart shape with his hands when I asked him to, haha). Klook's one-day tours are truly high quality, and the coordination is very smooth. I have already purchased tours in both Japan and Korea, and all have been excellent and satisfying. This year's Spring Festival was in mid-to-late February, and there had been very little snowfall during my days in Aomori. Luckily, I booked a private car for February 19th to Hakkoda, Oirase Stream, and Lake Towada. As soon as we entered the mountains, a blizzard began. Although the cable car wasn't operating, we still had a solid day of fun playing in the powder snow! Who can understand the joy of powder snow! Mr. Fukuda is truly a wonderful and professional person. He is the most attentive, professional, and polite driver I have ever encountered during my many trips and private car bookings in Japan! Due to the blizzard, visibility in the mountains was very low, but his driving skills were excellent; I didn't feel any impact from the weather. He took us to check in at every scenic spot along the Oirase Stream, and during the blizzard, he waited by the car for us every time, opening and closing the doors! Thoughtful and meticulous! 100% positive review!

It was cloudy until morning and cold enough to see our breath because it rained the night before the tour. However, thanks to our self-proclaimed weather fairy guide, Jeon Ara, we were able to see Mount Fuji on the way back to Tokyo. It was a breathtaking view that we encountered after a long wait, making for an even more pleasant end to our trip 🗻. It was great that Guide Jeon Ara adjusted the itinerary according to the weather and on-site conditions, rather than sticking to the planned order. We were also grateful for her recommendations for delicious snacks at each location and her accurate guidance and explanations 💗. I realized that seeing Mount Fuji is more difficult than expected and requires a lot of luck (😅). Since the temperature is about 5 degrees lower than in downtown Tokyo, the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom and the weather will be warmer until late April, so it would be a good time to visit in April 🌸.

December 28, 2025: My first trip to Fukuoka with my family, we bought a package tour. It was my first time seeing snow in Japan, and we even had a small snowball fight. Our tour guide told us that the group from the day before couldn't make it up because of the snow on the ground. We were lucky today; although there wasn't much snow, it was still a great experience. The scenery in Itoshima was truly beautiful, and the coconut trees were lovely too. We had a lot of fun on the swings and it was also perfect for taking photos. The Ichiran factory is also a great place for an outing. For lunch, our guide arranged for us to eat Ichiran ramen. We heard it was the main branch, so we didn't have to queue outside with everyone else, which was also a great treat. Finally, at Miyajidake Shrine, enjoying delicious food and watching the sunset was a truly perfect combination. So happy, so happy!

We had a wonderful experience on this day tour to Kusasenri Grassland (Kusasenrigahama) and Takachiho Gorge. Our tour guide, Daisy Wu, was very lovely and friendly. She speaks both English and Chinese fluently, which made communication very easy for everyone in the group. During each stop, she also recommended different local food spots for us to try, which was very helpful. Originally, our itinerary was supposed to include Aso Crater as well. However, due to a recent helicopter accident and the ongoing rescue operations, the crater area was temporarily closed. Daisy handled the situation very well and brought us to an alternative spot instead. Luckily, the weather today was very clear, so we were still able to see Aso Crater from Kusasenri Grassland, which made the experience even more special. Overall, this is a highly recommended day tour. Thank you for the lovely keychain souvenir, it’s a nice memory from the trip. Hope to join another tour with Daisy again in the future!

Such a fun, cheap, and great experience! Very convenient as well. We met in Tokyo early in the morning, but it's a 2-3 hour bus ride from Tokyo to the first stop, so you get to squeeze in a little nap on the way. Zoe was our tour guide, and she spoke in both Chinese and English and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive! She told us that Mount Fuji is clear only 70-80 days out of the year, and we were very fortunate to have a clear day on the 6th of March, 2026!
