I had a blast for my first Japan trip and I enjoyed the self-guided trip. We all had time for each itinerary spot, and Minoru-san was really open and doing his best to help us using his translator device. I definitely recommend this if you are a solo traveler because public transportation to some major places like Takayama Shrine and Tsuru no Maihashi Bridge is really hard and time-consuming. The trip happened on April 20 when the 7.6 earthquake hit, and it was really memorable for me too.

Amazing experience, our guide Fujisan was very good. He didn't speak English, but he made a lot of effort using a translator and Google Translate, and he had prepared messages for us too. I had booked other similar tours via Klook and GetYourGuide, which were cancelled by different operators, and they were asking me to book a private tour. This tour was a blessing.

Mr. Takaya, our guide and driver, is a local Japanese, but he used a translation device to ensure everyone understood. The places we visited were not limited to the itinerary's attractions; he would stop at special spots along the way for us to see, take photos, and rest. Finally, he took us to the Hakkoda Pass Observatory, which offers a panoramic view of Lake Towada. Although we arrived at Aomori Station a little late due to a slight traffic jam, overall, it felt like we truly got more than we paid for on this trip.

The Japanese driver and guide will be waiting 15-20 minutes in advance. They will pick you up in a car or van. It's a small group tour, and they will use a translation device to communicate. They will allow guests to take photos at all possible stops. Usually, day trips return early, but this time it was overtime, and they explained everything very thoroughly. Oirase Stream must be visited on a day with good weather; it's truly beautiful. The driver will let guests walk for 20 minutes, then get in the car, walk for another 20 minutes, then get in the car... This way, even those not used to long walks won't find it tiring. It was excellent!

I participated in a one-day activity in early April. The driver was very kind. Although the Hakkoda Ropeway was not operating that day due to strong winds, we went to Jogakura Bridge, where the scenery was spectacular, and we could see the gradually melting snow. Afterwards, we successfully saw the Oirase Stream, and the driver also introduced the locations of these famous streams along the way. We also saw the Snow Corridor! I highly recommend this Klook itinerary, and I'd like to participate in other activities next time if I have the chance.

This time, we chose a private car service, and the driver was very friendly. He would let us get out at every scenic spot to walk around and take photos. If I have the chance, I will definitely use this service again.

The tour guide's service attitude was attentive. The Hakkoda snow monster trip was very worthwhile. Despite the inconvenient transportation, the accompanying minibus could stop at key scenic spots, saving time and effort.
