Passeios por Kokura Castle

This trip was with my family and one child, departing from Fukuoka. Our guide, Lina, was incredibly thoughtful, arranging our seats in the front row (because we had a child) and looking after every member of the group. Along the way, she diligently introduced attractions and shared insights about life in Japan 🇯🇵, helping everyone understand more deeply. We traveled from Mojiko (with its retro-designed buildings 🏘️), took a 5-minute boat ride to the bustling Karato Market (where we ate tempura 🍤 and sashimi), visited Kokura Castle (with its magnificent architecture, moat, and beautiful autumn foliage along the way), and Miyajidake Shrine ⛩️ (the seasonal 'Path of Light' was stunning). It was a very fulfilling itinerary, and my family was extremely satisfied. We would definitely join again if we have the chance next time – it was truly wonderful! 👏👏👏

ツアーは順調でした。時間通りに出発しました。ツアーガイドも素晴らしかったです。バスは清潔でした。最初の2か所を訪れる時間は十分にありましたが、3番目の場所はショッピングモールに近かったので、博多に戻る前に食事をするためにもう少し時間があればよかったと思います。

Many thanks to our tour guide, Selina! At the start, she gave a detailed introduction to today's attractions. During the tour, she kindly pointed out places worth seeing and good restaurants at each site. She meticulously and thoughtfully took care of every group member, and the schedule was perfectly managed. Finally, she recommended great places to eat, shop, and explore near the station. Thanks to her, we had a very fulfilling and wonderful day! 😃

Our tour guide, Xiao Wang, was very diligent in introducing various attractions and their origins, and also shared delicious food and fun places in Fukuoka. He promptly answered any questions we had throughout the trip and helped us take beautiful photos. We took a small bus, and every seat was occupied. The seats were a bit small and narrow for men or tall people, and it's not suitable for those with luggage. The weather was quite good that day (although there was a light drizzle in Yufuin, it only lasted a short while). The sky was beautiful, and some attractions had maple leaves gradually turning red. Although the itinerary was a bit tight, we had a great time at each spot and took many photos. This tour is suitable for first-time visitors or those traveling with family who find it inconvenient to drive. Overall, it was still wonderful, and I recommend everyone to join!

We loved our day trip to Kokura Castle, the Outlets, and the Wisteria Garden. The castle is magnificent, and the history museum inside is well worth it! We bought several clothes at the Outlet stores. The Wisteria Garden was beautiful, but the flowers weren't at their peak due to the weather and the time we went. The guide is perfect and tries her best to explain and share her knowledge of the places with you.

Overall I enjoyed this tour. Our tourguide, Elivis was accomodating, nice and very informative. He can speak English, Nihonggo and Chinese. The Kitakyusu was very beautiful, Miji port has many beautiful architecure. I recommend eating sushi at Karato Market, it was so fresh and delicious!! Korukura Castle and Miyajidake are a sight to see as well! highly recommended if you are well into Japanese culture. This tour is a must when visiting Fukuoka!

Our guide is the best! Very clear with the details of our trip, everyone easily followed all his instructions. We love how he inserted his own story or experiences and gave us tips and guides. Thank you very much, Sir Jimmy! And also to the driver who brought us back to Hakata safely.
