Passeios por Perak Cave Temple

Today, we were hosted by tour guide Ben Lim. Ben was very punctual and attentive, providing detailed explanations for each attraction. He also took photos for us and waited patiently. He gave thorough explanations of famous local foods, offering choices and recommendations. When it rained heavily, he drove the car to the nearest drop-off point, taking great care of us. If any friends visit Kuala Lumpur, I will definitely recommend him to them again!

First, the tour is from 7:30-18:00, so that's fine. (It says 7:30-16:00, but I think that's a mistake.) I participated with my daughter. Since we weren't staying at a hotel, we departed on time from in front of Starbucks at Berjaya Times Square at 7:30. Due to it being the first day of a long holiday weekend, traffic was terrible. We entered Kellie's Castle at 12:00. For lunch at 13:30, we ate chicken rice (steamed and boiled), steamed bean sprouts, and fried tofu with oyster sauce. Everything was delicious and had no strong flavors. We arrived at Old Town at 14:45. After a stroll, we had white coffee at OLD TOWN at 15:00. We arrived at Perak Tong Cave Temple at 16:00. Afterwards, they dropped us off at our accommodation. The outbound journey was severely delayed due to terrible traffic, which made me worried, but we were taken to all the planned tourist spots as scheduled. I am very satisfied.

The trip saves effort, though not necessarily time or money—but it still feels worthwhile. It’s flexible: the driver takes you to popular spots, and you can stay as long as you like at each. Lunch is included, but it’s a fixed set; you’ll need to pay extra if you want more variety. The car is spacious and clean. However, there’s room for improvement in communication. Although LINE is listed as a contact method on Klook, it’s not commonly used locally, so the driver couldn’t reach me beforehand—and didn’t try calling either. The itinerary also lacks detail. I didn’t know how much time I could spend at each location or what the next stop would be. That undermines the flexibility, as better planning could have helped avoid repetitive sights.

During our trip to Malaysia, Mr. Cen was our host throughout, and our whole family was extremely satisfied with his service. Mr. Cen is a conversationalist and has a kind demeanor, which made us feel very at ease. No matter what requests we made, he always did his best to assist, never showing any impatience, which truly touched us. It's especially worth mentioning that Mr. Cen not only drove us around but also proactively recommended local delicacies. He personally took us to eat Pin Zhen Duck Noodles and Hing Kee Bak Kut Teh, both of which our family praised endlessly. He also thoughtfully took us to exchange currency, saving us a lot of trouble. We were traveling with two children this time, so our pace was slower, and sometimes they were inevitably noisy. However, Mr. Cen always patiently accommodated us, never showing any impatience from beginning to end. Instead, he always smiled and comforted the children, making us feel his professionalism and warmth. We sincerely recommend him to all friends who plan to travel independently to Malaysia!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Bongawan River Cruise, Sabah Amazing experience from start to finish. We were lucky enough to spot both long-nosed monkeys and long-tailed monkeys along the river, which made the cruise even more exciting 🐒🌿 The scenery was beautiful throughout the journey, especially the beach stop with its peaceful, open views. The sunset was absolutely stunning, with the sky turning golden over the river 🌅 The highlight for me was definitely the fireflies at night. The mangroves lit up like a dream, and one firefly even landed on my hand — such a magical moment ✨ Big shoutout to our guides Gary, Edward, and Kevin for being friendly, helpful, and making the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. If you’re in Sabah, this is definitely a must-do activity. Relaxing, beautiful, and unforgettable.

We had a very good time on this one-day tour. We were able to see another part of Malaysia. Mr. Ahmed was nice and kind, and he drove safely. The car was nice, clean, and well-maintained. Everything was good. We highly recommend booking this tour.
