Lunch is included, but it’s a fixed set; you’ll need to pay extra if you want more variety. The car is spacious and clean. However, there’s room for improvement in communication. Although LINE is listed as a contact method on Klook, it’s not commonly used locally, so the driver couldn’t reach me beforehand—and didn’t try calling either. The itinerary also lacks detail. I didn’t know how much time I could spend at each location or what the next stop would be. That undermines the flexibility, as better planning could have helped avoid repetitive sights.

We participated in a 2-person Ipoh day tour on April 28th. Our driver-guide, Tah (Mr. Cheng), contacted us via WhatsApp a day in advance to ask for our preferences. We were delighted to find that he could communicate in three languages, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. 👍🏻 Tah learned that we thought the departure time was too early and that we might miss breakfast. He thoughtfully consulted with us and decided to depart from Penang at a more suitable time, 8:00 AM, the next day, arranging for local breakfast along the way. 🥣 Tah is an experienced driver-guide who shared fascinating stories about the history, customs, culture, politics, economy, and attractions of Ipoh, Penang, and Malaysia throughout the journey. He was humorous and kept us laughing. 😝 Upon arriving in Ipoh, he flexibly arranged the timing for each attraction, never rushing us, allowing us to enjoy ourselves at a relaxed and comfortable pace. 😌 He also introduced us to famous local snacks in Ipoh. After asking for our opinion, we happily went to Wong Kee Bean Curd, and it was an unforgettable experience. We finally understood what truly smooth bean curd tastes like, and there was a wide variety of sugar options. We chose butterfly pea flower sugar and osmanthus sugar, and you could even add glutinous rice balls with fillings – the taste was superb! 👍🏻 On the way back, after much persuasion, he kindly took us to a seafood restaurant hidden among palm trees that only locals know about. The seafood was fresh and delicious, and the price was only one-third of what it would be in Hong Kong. We also tried lime-flavored and curry seafood bread dishes that we had never tasted before. 😋 Highly recommended! 👍🏻 The two of us ordered three dishes and two coconuts for only 90 Malaysian Ringgit! 🤩 We returned to our hotel happily. 🌈 Next time we visit Penang, we will definitely look for Tah again. We sincerely recommend him to everyone! 👍🏻

The travel agency will send an email to confirm the driver's name and vehicle number one day before the departure date. I managed to contact my driver/guide via WhatsApp the day before to confirm our pickup time. My guide, Anson, was very friendly and attentive. Our tour around Ipoh was very enjoyable thanks to him. He even brought us to Gunung Lang Recreational Park, which was outside the itinerary, as it was near the Perak Cave Temple. We took a lot of nice photos there. Shopping at Concubine Lane was fun, and lunch at Lou Wong, which had Ipoh's signature bean sprout chicken, was delicious. We also enjoyed a nice tea break at Kin Loong Valley, which is right next to the scenic Tasik Cermin. We ended our tour with a nice walk around Kellie's Castle. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are in Penang and would like to take a quick day trip to Ipoh.

We had a great time with our tour guide Danny for the entire trip. He gave us very detailed explanations about each attraction. He even took us to places that were not covered in the itinerary, like the HOGA tea valley and the Buddhism cave. I highly recommend this tour and request Danny as your guide.

We had a great experience with this private tour. Our driver, Teh, showed us around Ipoh, told us about its history, and showed us magnificent places. We really enjoyed it and were surprised by places we hadn't seen before.

The tour guide's service attitude was quite good, but they didn't accompany us to some attractions and didn't provide much additional information, so we couldn't learn more about the sights. It was a bit disappointing. I hope in the future they will accompany guests more and provide more introductions. Water was provided on the bus.

We crossed 2 huge Penang bridges and visited many places of interest, not only the listed places but also unknown places, e.g. Taman Rekreasi GUNUNG LAND, TASIK CERMIN etc. Mr. Teh's guide was uique and interesting. Famous chicken and bean sprouts lunch was delicious. It was an invaluable experience for us. Terima kasih.
