The arrangements were nearly perfect. Originally, we had difficulty getting entry tickets to Edinburgh Castle on their official website. While most travel agencies no longer had tickets for the day, we managed to get ours on Klook. The QR code was issued in less than a minute. The waiting place was convenient and the tour guide, Ignas, was easily identifiable. Yet, Ignas spoke with a very strong Scottish accent, which made it not always easy to follow. So, although he was very knowledgeable and helpful, the details of the description were not always fully understood. Nevertheless, the view at and from the castle was magnificent. Even though the path looked very steep and far from the city centre, it wasn’t difficult to get there. The rooms were definitely worth visiting. The souvenir shop also sold gifts that were exclusive to the castle. We also met the Queen and King James for a lovely photo. I would definitely recommend this visit.

Went on the 3D2N Isle of Skye, Scottish Highlands and Loch Ness Tour with the boys. Our amazing and witty tour guide, Neil, truly gave us an unforgettable experience with his active engagement and storytelling with stunning visuals. Although the sun set early during winter and the weather wasn’t in our favor, we managed to cover most of our itinerary with Neil’s strategic planning. Strongly recommend Timberbush Tours if it’s your first time in Scotland.

The Alnwick Castle and Borders Day Tour from Edinburgh was a truly great experience and definitely worth trying. The castles speak for themselves – beautiful, historic, and full of character. The tour guide also explained a lot of interesting history that made the trip more meaningful and enjoyable. The guide herself was amazing – very cheerful, helpful, and energetic throughout the journey. The Scottish music she played during the ride created a perfect atmosphere and made the experience feel even more authentic. My only complaint is that I wish the castle entrance fees were included in the package, especially since I ended up paying around £44 extra. Also, the ride was very long, but other than that, no complaints at all. Overall, I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about Scotland’s history and enjoy some incredible scenery.

I recently went on the amazing one-day tour (The Outlander, Palaces & Jacobites Experience), and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Scotland! We visited iconic locations featured in the Outlander series. But even if you haven’t seen the show, this tour is a true journey through time. His deep knowledge, great sense of humor, and ability to create an unforgettable atmosphere made the day fly by. I have already left this paradise on Earth—Scotland—but I am still under its spell.
