When I mentioned that I had a hot air balloon tour early in the morning, the guide contacted the hot air balloon tour operator and arranged for them to drop me off at Memnon at 8 AM after the tour, allowing me to meet the guide there. We visited Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, a statue factory?, and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in that order. At the Valley of the Kings, the guide pointed out highlights and recommended tombs. They also kindly explained how to buy tickets. When I said I wanted to see Tutankhamun's tomb, I was charged an extra $15 because the driver was waiting in the parking lot (since three of us participated, it was $5 per person x 3). That was disappointing, but I reluctantly paid. However, the guide themselves was good. There was no time limit, so we could take our time. On the way, we were taken to a statue factory, where we were pressured to buy statues and asked for a tip, but we didn't buy anything or pay a tip. We were told the toilet there was free, but we didn't use it. We also had plenty of time to see the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. On the way back, we were driven to our hotel. Although we were taken to an unscheduled statue factory and charged extra for the driver, it might be unavoidable as most Egyptians tend to ask for tips for various things anyway.

Our guide, Hassan, was very attentive and humorous. He shared many historical stories at each attraction, and the timing for each stop was just right. Although we didn't make it to the Memnon Colossi in the end, the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone interested!

The tour was great. It was very organized. Mr. Ayman, our tour guide, is very good and nice, and a good photographer too. The lunch was good too. We also had a good driver, Mr. Haysam. In some cases, like mine, I booked this tour as a group, but it turned out to be a private tour😊

My favorite was the guide on the third day — Ahmed Yossry, we visited so many amazing sites, and Ahmed took such great care of us. His explanations were rich, vivid, and full of fascinating stories. It felt like having a local friend showing us around, generously sharing great tips and insights. I highly recommend any tour with him!

Our tour guide, Ahmed, was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. His 20 years of experience and being a Luxor native gave a unique perspective on the tour. Our driver, Abdu, was prompt, safe, and friendly. These two made our trip even more special.

We were picked up at the hotel on time. The ruins themselves were very impressive and wonderful, but the tour guide's pace was unusually fast, and in the crowded conditions, I lost sight of them and spent the rest of the tour looking for the guide instead of enjoying the ruins. Also, in addition to the admission fees for each ruin, there are separate charges for the Nile River boat ride and the bus driver's tip.
