When I mentioned that I had a hot air balloon tour early in the morning, the guide contacted the hot air balloon tour operator and arranged for them to drop me off at Memnon at 8 AM after the tour, allowing me to meet the guide there. We visited Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, a statue factory?, and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in that order. At the Valley of the Kings, the guide pointed out highlights and recommended tombs. They also kindly explained how to buy tickets. When I said I wanted to see Tutankhamun's tomb, I was charged an extra $15 because the driver was waiting in the parking lot (since three of us participated, it was $5 per person x 3). That was disappointing, but I reluctantly paid. However, the guide themselves was good. There was no time limit, so we could take our time. On the way, we were taken to a statue factory, where we were pressured to buy statues and asked for a tip, but we didn't buy anything or pay a tip. We were told the toilet there was free, but we didn't use it. We also had plenty of time to see the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. On the way back, we were driven to our hotel. Although we were taken to an unscheduled statue factory and charged extra for the driver, it might be unavoidable as most Egyptians tend to ask for tips for various things anyway.

Our tour guide, Ahmed, was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. His 20 years of experience and being a Luxor native gave a unique perspective on the tour. Our driver, Abdu, was prompt, safe, and friendly. These two made our trip even more special.

They provided a comfortable and private tour based on truly professional and informative explanations. If you can only listen in English, their explanations are truly of exceptional quality. The restaurant they took us to at the end of the tour also had a great view and good prices.

Our tour guide Ahmed is very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Egypt! We had a very pleasant time visiting the different attractions and would recommend people to do the same to have a fuss-free vacation!

I had a wonderful trip with my family. Our guide, Osama, spoke excellent English. He kindly explained everything at each place we visited. He even used a translation app to explain things to my mother, who doesn't speak English. He was also punctual every morning, which made our trip very comfortable.

The guide was kind and good. However, the schedule was supposed to be until 4 PM, but it ended around 12 PM. It seems good for filling up the morning.

The overall itinerary timing was acceptable, but the driver was 20 minutes late. Additionally, perhaps because it was booked only the day before, it was difficult to find a guide during peak season. The guide we were ultimately assigned, Mohad, was generally not recommended. His professional knowledge and English were both quite average, and his explanations were not very smooth. Furthermore, he was very sexist; at the beginning of the tour, he only explained things to my male friend. Only after I pointed it out did he start explaining to both of us. His average English speaking skills also meant that the content he delivered was half-understood, and he often gave irrelevant answers to some of our questions. Later on, he would just read content from the signboards or talk nonsense. For example, he made mistakes when explaining the Temple of Hatshepsut, and at the Valley of the Kings, he just said a few words based on the signboard and then let us go in to explore on our own. Overall, the experience felt quite average and I would not recommend it. It felt like we just paid for a private car.
