You get to know a lot about the King Tuthankamhun, you go back into history and get awestruck with the life and possibilities that the king lived in. Truly mesmerising! What you see is all excavated recently and placed all together in one museum

Your Cairo tour is not complete if you have not spent at least 4-5 hours inside this GEM! Be prepared for a lot of walking, and be prepared to behold the amazing artifacts of King Tut’s tomb and many many other marvels of Egyptian history.

Once you paid for the E-ticket you have to wait atleast 24-48hours before GEM accepts and release your E-ticket. once you received it, you can immediately scan it in the main entrance. No need to go to the ticketing counters. TIP! Go to the museum as early as possible so you have the entire museum to yourself!

The building's exterior is magnificent, and its collection is incredibly rich. The biggest difference from other museums in Egypt is that the artifacts are well-preserved and displayed, not like a warehouse. The two extra late closing days a week are a great boon for travelers, as it's hard to set aside a whole day for a museum visit when every day's schedule is so packed.

One of the best experiences in Egypt. The Grand Museum is really grand. If you are really into history and have fascination towards Egyptian civilisation then hiring a guide is recommended. Otherwise there is plenty to see. Don't miss the children's section if travelling with kids. They will love it. The best part was Tutankhamen's section. Do visit the boat museum and have good lunch in the food court.

Booked the Grand Egyptian Museum ticket through Klook, and everything went smoothly. No issues with the ticket redemption, and entry was straightforward. The museum is absolutely stunning; modern, grand, and well worth the visit. The architecture alone is impressive, and the exhibits are beautifully displayed. Even if you're not a history enthusiast, the experience is still enjoyable because of how well the museum is designed. Plan to spend at least 3-4 hours here, as there's a lot to explore.

It was truly wonderful to experience the history of Egypt through this tour. We had a guide who was able to explain a great deal about the history of each figure and section. The King Tut mask is essentially the Egyptian equivalent of the Mona Lisa, but with a very rich history nonetheless. It's definitely a must-visit, especially since all the items have already been moved from the old museum to this new location.
