Our guide Leonardo was very enthusiastic, informative, knowledgeable and patient. He is very professional and polite. He explains the painting and kind of art prior letting us hear through the auto guide. He guides the information we get from the audio guide so, we can understand more clearly. The entire experience was worth it because of a guide like him. We went home very satisfied and we wish all other attendees will experience Leonardo’s expertise.

Booked for the morning, found the lady in the vest at the queue to exchange tickets. She patiently explained the ticket contents and seating, and we entered quickly. The stairs to the dome were surprisingly easy to climb. During the visit, we saw stable, massive artworks and beautiful city views from the rooftop. Highly recommended.

The interior of the church and baptistery exudes a solemn atmosphere with magnificent wall decorations, and the mosaic flooring is particularly stunning. You can spend more time admiring it in detail.

It includes 4 admission tickets! You can visit 4 places in three days! The Baptistery was closed for renovation, and I found the museum to be just okay! Actually, the most worthwhile visit is the Duomo's dome, but it's a tough climb. I recommend going at 9:30 AM when there are fewer people! For the upper section, there's only one spiral staircase for both ascent and descent, which gets very crowded. It's better in the morning when there aren't as many people. They don't manage the flow or control the crowd.

Arrive at the Bell Tower at the designated time to queue. After security checks, you can begin your ascent. There are many floors where you can rest along the way, so you can complete the climb according to your personal fitness level.

Bypassing the long queue (at least an hour's wait) and going straight in to see it is absolutely worth it. The meeting point is at the Museo della Misericordia, located next to Giotto's Bell Tower (to the right when facing the bell tower). Be sure to arrive early.

There was a very long queue outside the church, and the Italian tour guide had a very strong accent. I'd recommend that if you're a native Chinese speaker, you'll need to listen very carefully to understand the explanations 😇. However, on the other hand, just the fact that you don't have to queue in the high Italian temperatures and can enter directly makes this tour highly recommendable!
