We had an excellent Kyoto–Nara private tour booked through Klook. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Our driver was truly incredible—professional, punctual, and very courteous throughout the entire trip. He made us feel comfortable and ensured we had a stress-free and enjoyable journey. His knowledge of the routes and flexibility with our schedule really made a difference. The tour itself was well-organized, allowing us to explore Kyoto and Nara at our own pace without feeling rushed. It was the perfect way to experience these beautiful places. Our guide and driver, Saifu, was very thoughtful, sending a meeting video to the group, and drove smoothly throughout the trip. When we arrived at Mount Rokko to enjoy the night view, it was still a bit bright at 7:30 PM, and it seemed we were about to gather and head back. Saifu, not wanting to disappoint everyone, announced a 20-minute delay, allowing us to finally admire the legendary million-dollar night view. Many thanks! Regarding the itinerary, I suggest shortening the time at Kobe Port and extending the visiting time at Kitano Ijinkan so that travelers have more time to explore.

This is a very good tour for you to know more about the places of interests in Kobe. The tour guide Tin is very helpful, gentle, soft spoken and friendly. His command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese is extremely good.

Our guide Ayako was knowledgeable and had great English. She went above and beyond to make our day as seamless as possible and we had a great day exploring the sights of Kobe. The confirmation email received from the company prior to the tour perfectly explained the itinerary for the day and even included photos of where to meet and a photo of our guide. Our only suggestion would be to add the expectation to pay for the guides lunch as an item not covered in the tour cost. While we didn’t mind, it would be good to know this in advance before booking the tour.

The driver arrived at the hotel's underground pick-up point ten minutes early and notified us via text message. The entire journey was fast and smooth, and the driver was professional and courteous. If you want to enjoy a private and worry-free day trip with family and friends from Osaka Umeda to Amanohashidate and Ine Funaya, a chartered car is undoubtedly the best choice. This is because the journey is long, public transportation is complicated due to multiple transfers, and tour groups have strict time limits and lack privacy. Therefore, a chartered car is the most convenient and comfortable option. There was ample time for the entire tour, allowing us to fully experience the natural wonders at a leisurely pace: taking a cable car to enjoy panoramic views, walking through the pine forests on the sandbar, burning incense and paying respects at temples, tasting seafood at seaside restaurants, visiting popular cafes, feeding seagulls from a fishing boat, and observing the boathouses... It was a compact yet rich experience, offering an intimate encounter with Amanohashidate and Ine Bay, and it was comfortable and not tiring at all. It was fantastic! 👏

The attractions were great, but unfortunately, we didn't have enough time. At Kitano Ijinkan, after paying to visit two major Western-style houses, we quickly picked out souvenirs, took photos outside the Starbucks, and then rushed back to the bus. At Arima Onsen, we paid to experience the Kinsen (Golden Hot Spring), but when we came out, we found that most of the old town shops were already closed. We didn't get to explore much before we had to gather and get back on the bus. For the Mount Rokko night view, because it gets dark later in summer, we initially only saw a 500,000-dollar night view. Thanks to our driver and guide who notified us on LINE to delay our departure time, we eventually got to see the million-dollar night view, which made us incredibly happy! I suggest adding a tour guide to introduce the major attractions and recommend good food and shopping spots; that would be even better!

The Kobe tour was very relaxing and enjoyable. A big shout out to our tour guide Joy, who was very nice and gave us a glimpse into the history of Kobe. The Kobe Port, the train ride to Mt. Rokko, and having coffee at Starbucks, which by the way was the first one in all of Japan, made the trip worthwhile. Not to mention the Kobe Beef, which was super delicious!
