This time, we chose to visit Amanohashidate and Miyama Kayabuki no Sato. We skipped Ine to allow for more ample visiting time. As a result, the entire trip wasn't rushed, and we could fully enjoy the scenery. In the morning, we first went to Amanohashidate, the "Kyoto by the Sea," where the scenery was beautiful. We brought some bread ourselves to save time on lunch. (This gave us two hours to play, ride the cable car, go to the sandbar after descending, and visit Chion-ji Temple.) The lake cruise at noon was a lot of fun; it was my first time seeing seagulls and eagles 🦅 up close. In the afternoon, we arrived at Miyama, the "Kyoto by the Mountains." We had an hour at the thatched-roof village, which was as serene and beautiful as a fairy tale village. Additionally, our tour guide, Huahua, was very kind, diligently introduced the attractions, enthusiastically helped us take photos, and reminded us of details. When we got off in Osaka, she also kindly told us where to catch the train with an elevator, which was more convenient. I highly recommend this tour and our guide, Huahua.
