Great tour around the castle with our guide Kei. He really immersed us in the history and showed us the strategic spots. The samurai experience that followed was just as amazing!

A must-see tour in the Nagano area! Our tour guide, Shin, was very enthusiastic in explaining the history of Matsumoto Castle and the attractions in Kamikochi, which made us appreciate these sites even more. We were also fortunate to experience sunny weather during our tour, which made the surroundings in Kamikochi even more vivid.

Excellent half-day tour of the Castle and surrunding streets. The guide was great, flexible and knowledgeable.

Initially, I was a bit anxious when I booked this tour because it had no reviews and I am a solo female traveler. I am now returning to Tokyo and wanted to share my experience. The long drive is worth it for a great view of Kamikochi if you are short on time. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and found the price very reasonable for a 9-hour round trip. The weather was perfect, enhancing the beautiful scenery. My guide, Cathy, was accommodating and kind, making me feel safe and taken care of. The driver also drove safely. I highly recommend this tour, but be prepared for a long day! There are plenty of opportunities to nap during the bus ride anyway.

We really enjoyed this tour and the cherry blossom in Takato was breathtaking. Our guide, Carp Feng, was excellent and patient and made the trip even more memorable. We highly recommend this tour to everybody during the cherry blossom season.

Communication was excellent. The itinerary was packed, but we had plenty of time for sightseeing, activities, and rest. It was a shame it rained on the day of the Shibazakura Festival, but the itinerary was adjusted due to the weather, and we visited even more places. The highlight, the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, was fantastic! With so many different modes of transport, it was really convenient to be on a tour, and we didn't have to wait too long.

A convenient way to visit Kamikochi from Nagoya, no need to worry about public transportation time and crowd. The trip was wonderful and well organized. I'm so impressed with our tour guide, Yukino. She is kind and knowledgeable. She gave us a lot of information about the tour itself and also about where to go and what to do next around Nagoya. She speaks english and mandarin clearly and fluent. She made the trip become more better.

We took Route 2 and are quite fast walkers. I wouldn't recommend it unless you skip the Myojin Pond entry, as we lost GPS signal and then realized we would arrive at the bus past the meet-back time, causing us to run for 20 minutes to make it. We thought the best view was the main Kappa Bridge anyway, but everywhere is beautiful, and we still thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The driver stops about 1.5 hours in and on the way back for restroom breaks.

Sana-san, was an awesome guide! He coordinated with us way ahead of our booking date, and he was quick to respond to inquiries. We felt safe with him on the wheel because he drove his spacious and comfortable vehicle with care. He was very fun to talk with, but he also respected our need for silence especially when we took naps during the trip. He was also very considerate in making a brief stop each way (to and from) at roadside rest stations so that we can stretch and get snacks. I especially appreciated that Sana personally brought us to the places we visited (he didn't just drive and dropped us off), but he also gave us enough space to explore on our own. He also endorsed us properly (e.g. English tour guide in Matsumoto Castle) before taking his leave at each destination. We hope to do this trip again. When we do, we will definitely arrange for Sana to be our guide again. Thank you so much, Sana-san!
