Passeios por Fushimi Inari Taisha

We had an amazing experience on our Nara, Fushimi Inari Taisha and Kyoto tour! Our guide Willa was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made every moment enjoyable with fascinating stories and local insights. Everything was well-organized, and we felt truly taken care of throughout the day. It was the perfect way to explore these beautiful places—highly recommended! 1000/10!

From the moment I saw the name, I knew this was the person for me... I thought my trip to Kyoto would be really fun, and it certainly was! They were incredibly kind and explained everything in great detail, making the trip twice as enjoyable! Not only did they provide detailed explanations about the spots, but they also shared insights into Japanese culture and their life experiences, which kept things from getting boring. Also, there aren't many tours that include Nara, so I compared many options, and this tour was 100,000,000,000,000% satisfying. :) After the tour, they even recommended a great restaurant near Namba and offered to make a reservation if possible, so I asked for a yakiniku place. The first bite was amazing... It was truly, truly, truly delicious, the best meat I've ever had in my life!!! It was a happy tour where I felt reassured by their offer to contact them anytime if I needed other restaurant recommendations, had questions, or faced difficulties during my trip, and I felt like I had met a wonderful person.

The guide was very informative and spoke good English. The timing of the walk was fantastic, being early morning, so there were fewer crowds. We got really good pictures from those places. It was to the point. The transport was via metro and train, so it was very nice, but you need to be ready for a lot of walking. That was not an issue with us. I highly recommend this kind of tour.

Our Kyoto tour was absolutely wonderful, thanks to our outstanding guide. He was extremely well-mannered, very cooperative, and genuinely friendly, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from the very beginning. He listened carefully to what we wanted to see and made sure every detail was thoughtfully covered. Not only did he show us all the places on our list, but he also went above and beyond by introducing us to additional spots we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. His knowledge, flexibility, and warm personality truly enhanced our visit to Kyoto. I joined the half-day morning tour on March 30th. Although the cherry blossoms were only half-open, I was still able to take beautiful photos both on the boat and along the shore. I'd also like to commend our tour guide that day, Mimi. Her first impression was excellent, full of smiles and energy. Our group included a Western couple, and Mimi's English was very good; she didn't just cater to the majority of guests who spoke Mandarin and neglect them. When our group of 20 walked on the streets, Mimi patiently repeated her explanations to guests at the front, middle, and back, which was very thoughtful. She truly deserves praise! 👍

During our 7-day, 6-night independent trip, we specifically set aside one day to join a group tour in Kyoto. The main attractions for this tour were Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. All the places on the itinerary were ones I really wanted to visit. I was incredibly nervous before we left, as it was my first time traveling this way, and it was a tour I personally really wanted to join. However, it turned out to be truly wonderful; the time management and itinerary planning were all very appropriate. I want to give a huge thank you to our tour guide, Xiao Fu (Alvin) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Throughout the trip, he explained the history of the attractions in both Chinese and English, and also shared many recommended restaurants, allowing us to make efficient use of our time. He also reminded everyone of the meeting times and locations in the group chat when appropriate. Our group was quite large, so we traveled by bus, but Xiao Fu still checked in on everyone's well-being and if they had any specific food preferences, etc., and he was always enthusiastic to help. Especially when my son fell and injured both knees, Xiao Fu immediately went to buy disinfectant and dressings for us as soon as he found out. We are truly grateful; otherwise, we might not have been able to relax and enjoy ourselves. My son later felt a bit shy but wanted to thank this 'big brother.' We returned to Osaka around 6 PM, which gave us plenty of time to shop. After returning home, everyone felt that the day was fulfilling and enjoyable.

We usually prefer independent travel but felt this tour would enable us to see key sights in Kyoto, and we did. Our guide Anson was excellent. He created a WhatsApp group chat to share information at each stop so we could self guide after he shared initial information. There were only 15 on the bus so not too crowded. highly recommend. Easily accessible meeting point (tourist bus parking in front of Kyoto Station - Shinkansen side/Avanti Shopping Center), precise, efficient, and very kind guide, splendid itinerary to visit Kyoto's main attractions with organization but also a certain flexibility. I highly recommend it.
