At the central station, you only need to show your proof of purchase to board. However, at Ipoh station, you must go to the counter to print a physical ticket and pay a 2 Ringgit fee to get the scannable ticket for boarding. Therefore, be aware that there are slight differences in procedures at each station. The bus journey was smooth, but you need to handle your own luggage. When disembarking at the central station, be cautious when retrieving your luggage due to the narrow and dimly lit lane, which sees a lot of bus traffic.
