Although we unfortunately encountered a long-awaited heavy rain during this trip, and couldn't visit many places, that's just how travel is – leaving a little regret so we can come back next time to fully appreciate the beauty of Taitung. This time, we rented from Grizzly Bear Car Rental. Even though the owner seemed unapproachable at first glance, he's actually super nice in person! He has a tough exterior but a kind heart! When we picked up the scooter, he was super friendly, explained everything to us, filled up the tank, and told us about directions and various attractions. He was great to chat with. I look forward to arranging another trip to Taitung next time. I highly recommend everyone to rent a scooter from Grizzly Bear Car Rental!

It was my first time renting a scooter, and I wasn't very familiar with the process. I called the owner, and he told me I could just take the scooter and use it right away, no need to wait. The scooter worked perfectly, and the owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. You can rent a scooter from them with confidence; I highly recommend it. Scooter model: 125

I highly recommend purchasing the shuttle service, especially if you're trying to get an early morning hot air balloon tethered experience. The driver was waiting for us at the hotel downstairs even before dawn, and during the ride, he enthusiastically introduced us to the sights along the way. Upon arriving at Luye Gaotai, we didn't have to park far away and walk a long distance; we were dropped off right next to the large grassy area, allowing us to head straight to the ticket booth. It was truly worth every penny!

The pick-up location is clearly marked, and it's very convenient to follow the picture guide. The staff are friendly. If you don't want to refuel the scooter yourself before returning it, you can pay an extra $100. You can return it directly on the same day! A full tank of gas is more than enough for a 3-day, 2-night trip!

You can pick up the vehicle by turning right after exiting Chishang Station. Unfortunately, we received a faulty vehicle that stalled and wouldn't restart at Luye Gaotai, and the engine light on the dashboard came on. However, the company's service was excellent. We were able to ride all the way to Taitung New Station to exchange the vehicle. We appreciate the gentleman at Taitung Station who waited for us until after 8 PM. Thank you.
