The hotel is located on the right-hand side when you exit Cambridge train station. It's about a 30-minute train ride to STN Airport. Walking to King's College takes approximately 30 minutes, or about 10 minutes by bus for 3 pounds.

Easy to use, app is simple and provides good info on train routes etc. A bit pricey at first, but you if you don’t have definite plans and prebooked train tickets months before, will recommend getting this to avoid variable prices.

The BritRailPass is so worth it. Easy to activate and use the QR codes for each day. You can take your time and be assured that you can board the train at the time that you prefer. There are routes though that are really popular and crowded. Train fares are quite expensive if you buy them on the day itself so the flexibility helped a lot. We traveled around UK with our large luggages. just make sure to board the coach with the luggage compartment.

It's easy to use, but you have to pay to reserve seats for all trips except the first one. The pass isn't cheap, and often it's more economical to pay locally, unless you're making a same-day round trip to a very distant location.

I chose a three-day train ticket this time, and the three days don't have to be used consecutively, which makes the itinerary more flexible. By entering the website through the email link and registering the usage dates, I received QR codes. When entering the station, I just scanned the code to pass through the gate. Please register at least 2 days in advance of your usage date. Each day requires a separate QR code, so I registered for 3 different codes. On the first day, I traveled from the airport to Paddington, then to Bristol. On the second day, I went to Bath and Oxford. On the third day, I returned to London from Bristol. I recommend reserving a seat for the journey from Bristol to London, as the train can be quite crowded. The ticket only includes one free seat reservation, which I found to be sufficient, as there were plenty of seats on the trains for the other journeys.

I highly recommend punting on the River Cam! You just show your ticket and can board right on time. The wind, sunshine, and sky made for a truly wonderful experience.

I was the only Chinese tourist that day, so I enjoyed a 1-on-1 guided tour. The guide explained everything in great detail and patiently answered all my questions, which helped me learn a lot more about Cambridge. It was a wonderful experience.

Both Cambridge and Oxford were lovely, located 2 hours drive away (by coach) from London. Our guide was Dan and she was very clear and informative. The coach was comfortable. I personally prefer Cambridge over Oxford due to fewer crowds. Limited time was given to explore each place. Overall, this day tour was enjoyable.
