Coisas para fazer em Kurashiki

The driver was very kind. We originally didn't know we would pass a huge torii gate on the way, but she specially told us about it. Luckily, we turned to take photos, otherwise we would have almost missed an interesting attraction! 😆

It was raining heavily that day, so we couldn't take a boat. But we found small shops in Kurashiki to eat snacks, made pancakes, ate peach ice cream, had takoyaki, bought button hair accessories, visited the Momotaro Museum (old but funny), exchanged jelly, saw Snoopy and Miffy bread, visited the Sumikko Gurashi shop, a jeans store, a free garden, an art museum, and had lunch at a soba noodle shop. There was so much to see and do! We walked around in the rain from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. After lunch, we took the JR at 2:30 PM to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden! It was a great walk, and the walking pass was very useful. The three of us bought 5 passes to use. You can't reuse them at the same store, and one person uses one pass. For 250 yen, we had a great time for most of the day. It was beautiful and there were great things to buy! Excellent!

We were there on 5 April for our 5-yo daughter. The services were amazing, couldn’t have asked for more! The location is a big plus as it’s just an easy walk of 2 minutes from the riverside.

It's an amusement park with a peculiar vibe. There are so many stairs that it's quite tiring. For those who find the stairs difficult, they've created alternative routes like slopes and wooden structures on the side. While it doesn't really have a distinct theme or beautiful decorations, there are many children playing joyfully, which makes you feel excited too. Not all the rides are well-made, but they're decent enough to ride, haha. I was worried there wouldn't be many people, but there were quite a few more than I expected. The queue to enter is long. Kiosks wouldn't really fit in here, would they? There are only a few counters where people sell tickets one by one. Going up and down the stairs and playing games with the kids at the main stage, making them sit and stand up, is so much fun, haha. The sky was a bit cloudy and visibility was low when I went, but I imagine the view would be really nice on a clear day!

The shop is not far from the riverside in Kurashiki, located on the second floor of a clothing store. The owner is very kind and attentive. Although she doesn't speak Chinese, we were able to communicate using Google Translate and simple English. All the kimonos in the shop are beautiful, and the owner's skillful hands can make your hairstyle look amazing. Considering the price and the results, I highly recommend it! It was very hot that day, and the owner thoughtfully lent us an umbrella, which we really appreciated.

The exhibition is mainly based on optical illusions, and some displays are good for taking photos. Overall, it's more recommended for people with children. We're already in our mid-thirties and finished touring very quickly. Oh, and the staff are all very friendly and tourist-friendly!
