These 2 tours combined - the best I have done in any country. Well organised, great hosts and drivers, excellent value for money, easy pace and just so full of fun! the salt mine tour is fascinating! and the Sound of Music tour with Mitch and Edo at the helm was perfect! I would recommend to anyone!!
It was a lovely experience and definitely a must-do on the itinerary. The salt mines were incredible, we got to experience many types of transportation within the tour, and the stop at the Bavarian Alps was absolutely lovely.
Highly recommended! But it was actually two tours with a two-hour gap in between for you to find your own lunch.
We had a lot of fun at the salt mine, and we really enjoyed the Sound of Music tour. The Sound of Music tour guide was wonderful. I forgot her name, but she is the best tour guide I have ever experienced. She sang all the Sound of Music songs. I have really good memories of Salzburg, thanks to the lady guide who used to live in the US.
