CityTourCard Munique

Received the email attaching the Card one day before the day of use. Like most places in Europe, public transport is fast and convenience in Munich. Having the Card just makes it easy to travel as we can jump on and off the buses, trams, subways and trains within the network guided by our helpful google map. We use it to go to places like Nymphenburg Palace, Odeonsplatz and Marienplatz.

The Munich CityTourCard makes using public transport incredibly convenient! I struggled at first because I didn't know where to exchange it, but you can exchange it here: Munich Central Station, 1st floor, diagonally opposite Starbucks. Bahnhofpl. 2, 80335 München, Germany

Convenient for travel by public transport, unlimited rides if you take the wrong one, and discounts available at partner stores. However, I did not use this promotion this time. For ticket validation, simply show the QR code.

The itinerary was wonderful, and the arrangements were very well organized. The tour bus was comfortable and clean, and the driver drove smoothly. The Canadian female tour guide provided very detailed and clear explanations. Highly recommended! 👍👍

Ideal für Reisen in München! Kann für Busse, Züge, Straßenbahnen usw. verwendet werden. Da dies für den M12-Bereich war, haben wir es auch für nahegelegene Städte wie den Tegernsee genutzt. Die Hin- und Rückfahrt zum Tegernsee hat die Kosten der Fahrkarte bereits gedeckt! Ein gutes Geschäft!

Convenient and value for money, especially for those traveling in a big group. The only small downside is that the entrance ticket discount to some museums is a bit tiny.

Although I only used it for group travel, it's a very convenient card, as you don't have to look for a ticket vending machine. There were some issues with the card (the wrong name was mentioned as the main participant), but my concerns were sorted out quickly by the support team. Transport included:

Redemption is easy. You need to go to the basement, where there's a counter directly in front of the train station. Show them the QR code, and they will issue you a ticket. I had 4 members and received one ticket. After validation at the entrance, you're good to go and explore.

This was my second Munich City Card as my stay in Munich was six days. However, this time it was for the cheaper M zone. Very convenient!

We bought a transportation card that can be used within the M-6 zone, and this time we used it for 4 adults and 2 children. For the other child, we bought a single-day ticket (M-12) at the station every day. Since the date is already marked, there's no need to look for a place to validate it, which made it very cost-effective. Not only could we use it from the airport to the city, but on the third day, we also went to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, and it worked for both the S-Bahn and local buses.
