Tour de Phnom Penh à Ilha da Seda de Tuk-Tuk

Thanks to our guide George and driver, prompt pick up and first stop was to the Golden Temple. Then to the market, where the challenge was to name the spices, only got two right lol. Next stop was to a local school, the kids were lovely and friendly, relived my youth by joining in with the skip rope kids. Last stop was the Silk Island, we were given snacks and water before the tour. The lady there was informative and talked us through the life cycle of the silk worm. We were able to watch some of the spinning and were shown some of the techniques used to make scarfs. Great morning, thanks George, you were a star

The guide was friendly and answered all our questions about the sights we saw. Although it was a short 4 hours, we managed to cover quite a few places such as a temple, a beancurd skin factory, a local market, were given a coconut drink, and some fruits and refreshments at the silk weaving place. The tuk-tuk took us around the whole of Silk Island and there were several ferry trips which also ferried the tuk-tuk.

It was a very relaxed, interesting tour. Led by locals and supported by locals. Transport worked without any problems.

It was a nice tour. We learned a lot about the livelihood of people living on Silk Island. The guide explained everything we needed to know.

A very relaxing tour. This tour was exactly the relaxation I needed. Just sitting and enjoying the view and fresh air. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the different islands we visited. It's basically a community immersion tour, seeing how Cambodians live day to day.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip. Our guide Tin Tin was very warm and hospitable and gave us a good history lesson for newbies to the country like us. This is a really worthwhile tour because you get to see outside of the city, enjoy a ferry ride, and move about in your very own tuk-tuk. Tin Tin brought us to see how they made tofu skin, took us to the silk farm and factory where they use hand looms to weave the silk into cloth. It was very laborious and yet very intricate. And we even shared local beer together! A really wonderful experience! Thanks, Tin Tin.

I was a bit flustered when it suddenly changed to cycling, but we had a great time. It was fun.
