Phnom Penh: Excursão de Tuk Tuk aos Campos de Extermínio e ao Museu S-21

Both my son and I had the perfect tour with the perfect Tour guide Nien, I have probably spelt that wrong but sounds that way when pronounced, he had perfect English and was so knowledgeable about both sites and was able to answer all our questions. honestly getting a fantastic tour guide who you can engage with makes such a difference and he was such a nice man, it was our first time in a tuk tub and was good fun. we have amazing memories from the tour but such a sad subject and absolutely terrible what happened to the Cambodian people and such atrocities should never happen again, we did have the pleasure of meeting a survivor which was an honor and if you are there and he is please buy his book and support him. all in all a great tour, I would recommend it to anyone interested in the history of the country.

It was an excellent tour. Sophea was my tour guide. I'm sorry I didn't get the driver's name, but it was just me today. It's not an easy tour to get through. He is very knowledgeable. He offered good, detailed explanations and was very patient with questions. These questions could be about the S21 or Killing Fields or any other part of Cambodia. He has vast knowledge about the country, and he provides good explanations. If you are in Phnom Phen... please do this tour as it's always serve as a good reminder of how fragile humanity can be.

overall, the tuktuk ride was enjoyable and the rider was polite and nice. both stops are educational spots to learn about the horror of Khmer Rogue.

Our guide, Neant, was excellent and met us on time and we visited S21 first. It was a good call as almost no one was there. We sat down in the shade and he gave us an overview then ran us through the museum at an appropriate pace, pointing out interesting specifics without labouring the obvious. He gave us some time to explore by ourselves and to contemplate what we had heard and seen. The same was true at the Killing Fields site. The tuk tuk ride out and back was a little dusty and hot but was part of the experience.

Reya is a helpful and friendly guide. She offered relevant insights during the tour. I wish she had followed and offered more insights inside the museum.

Tom was an excellent guide. Very informative and delivered in a very respectful way.

The guide was on time and knowledgeable. This was a humbling experience. It was mainly outdoors, so prepare well.

this was another tour that did not last as long as stated. while I wasn’t rushed my guide did not stay with me at the killing fields and without a guide I was only there for an hour. tuk tuk driver was very good and made sure I got back to hotel.
