Imperdível Tour Histórico por Phnom Penh

Agradable recorrido con itinerario de día completo visitando múltiples atracciones en Phnom Penh, ahorrando tiempo. Nuestro guía fue Nao Sok, quien hablaba bastante bien inglés. Fue muy atento, te enviará un mensaje la noche anterior y por la mañana antes de venir, lo cual es digno de elogio, ya que permite a los participantes saber qué esperar y cuándo. La recogida fue puntual, la logística fue muy fluida y nos movimos en una minivan agradable, acogedora y limpia. Los Campos de la Muerte y Tuol Sleng son visitas obligadas en Phnom Penh si te interesa la historia o simplemente quieres entender más sobre el país, aunque para algunos puede considerarse un tema oscuro. El Mercado Ruso estuvo bien, principalmente para comprar recuerdos, pero aún así interesante. Aquí puedes conseguir tus kromas con tantas tiendas que los venden. El Mercado Central parece más para vender joyas, relojes, gafas de sol, etc., en la parte interior, y el círculo exterior serían los tenderos locales. El edificio tiene un diseño interesante, y es bueno ver la vida cotidiana de los lugareños comprando sus necesidades básicas en el mercado.

Mr. Nao Sok was a fantastic tour guide all throughout the 8 hour tour. His deep knowledge of the sights in the Killing Fields and the Genocide Museum shows when he is able to not only recount the details of the events that transpired, but connect them to the periods before the Khmer Rouge and the current government. Furthermore, he is factual with the way he presents and is cognizant of any remarks or opinions that may antagonize any nationality. I asked him questions about geography, politics, and religion, to which he responded with nuance and clarity with great English-speaking capability. Perhaps the cherry on top is that if you look at the way he cares for us (the tourists), local vendors and nature (he planted some trees in the Killing Fields), he's also clearly a kind-hearted Cambodian man. I recommend this tour as one of your 1st activities after landing, and I highly recommend requesting for Mr. Nao Sok personally.

Sry was my tour guide. It was a wonderful experience with her bringing us to the Prison Museum as well as the Killing Fields Museum as she recalled those tough times during her childhood. However, Sry said we should also see the good things such as the Royal Palace if we have the time during our trip. Sry also explained about the Central Market to us, and showed us which are the more expensive items that we should avoid. The tour was in general a good experience should you want a more in-depth explanation to the history of Phnom Penh.

The guide Nao Sok was informative and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot during the visit, and I would highly recommend him for any tour. He was so accommodating and shared a lot of tips for our visit.

We were so fortunate to have been assigned Mr. Nao Suk as our guide for this tour. He is literally a walking encyclopedia of history and had a huge knowledge of Cambodian, Indian and South East Asian history, world literature and etymology of Sanskrit words. Gained a deep understanding of each place with patient and elaborate explanation. For a small extra charge, the company was kind enough to accommodate our last minute request to change the included tuk tuk option to an air-conditioned van on this super hot day. Ask for Mr. Nao Suk for the Phnom Penh Tour.

Unser Guide Sam war sehr kenntnisreich und hat viel Geschichte erklärt. Wir waren die einzigen Teilnehmer der Tour, sodass sie uns vom Hotel abholte und uns einen späteren Start ermöglichte. Was die Reiseroute betrifft: Da der Zentralmarkt am Ende des Tages schloss, besuchten wir stattdessen Wat Phnom. Jetzt wissen wir, woher Phnom Penh seinen Namen hat. The originally planned itinerary might not have proceeded due to insufficient participants, but Ms. Neara, our tour guide, thoughtfully contacted me the day before the tour to offer options for changing or canceling. In the end, I chose to participate in another tour offered by Neara. This tour is quite suitable for first-time visitors to Phnom Penh, as Ms. Neara and the driver will take travelers to several key spots in Phnom Penh during the daytime. In addition to learning about the attractions themselves and their related stories, Ms. Neara also thoughtfully offered to take photos with my own phone, which was very convenient for a solo male traveler like myself. The tour includes a meal at your own expense, and the friendly Neara also interacts with fellow travelers throughout the journey. I highly recommend Ms. Neara to anyone who wants to explore Phnom Penh but hasn't yet visited.

Since I was alone, it became a private tuk-tuk tour. The tuk-tuk ride was great. It was a humbling experience to see the Killing Fields and the prison. Nao Sok, the guide, was great and had decent English. He was also able to explain things in detail whenever asked.
