We took a boat to the island and prepared. I recommend wearing casual clothes and changing into a suit inside. It seems like you need to bring your own toiletries like shampoo. On the island, we saw goats, cats, and monkeys. A monkey stole my food, but it was cute. The facilities are quite clean. The visibility was good when diving from the middle of the sea by boat, but it became very narrow as we got further from the island. During the last, third dive, I was flustered because I lost my guide, but they found me well. It was a very natural and good experience. The instructors kindly set up all the equipment for us. Everyone was very friendly. They even gave us free water. The provided lunch menu includes a hamburger that I think would be delicious. The mango chicken tastes like sweet and sour pork with chili sauce, and the black pepper chicken tastes like salty black bean sauce. Although the visibility was a bit disappointing, the overall experience was great, so it was excellent.
Despite stormy conditions at Mari Mari Sepangar, Coach Guan from BabyShark led a great dive. We still spotted a sea turtle, clownfish, and a brilliant blue starfish. Recommended!🤿 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Master Quan led me to the different sights of Sepanggar Island. I was a bit worried about the water visibility due to the rainy season, but it seems there was no need to worry. The third dive involved exploring the three Vietnamese shipwrecks near the shore. I don't know how Vietnamese ships ended up all the way there and sank 🤣. The blurry visibility in that spot gives you a slightly spooky feeling, and you'll see the mysteriously intertwined shipwrecks. At the end of the dive, before you surface, you might have a chance to say hello to the sea-walking tourists. I hope you show them some joy. The pictures are of the island.
Dive at three different dive sites in "Sibuan Island"! There's an abundance of coral and marine life! The third dive site features three shipwrecks with a surprise!
The coaches are professional and show us different kinds of species. The three dives were memorable; I saw big sea turtles and big sea hares! The lunch was good, and I enjoyed the beach for an hour at lunchtime. The shipwreck was also amazing! I loved this trip very much.
I participated alone as a Japanese person. It had been a while since my last dive, so they allowed me to do a refresh dive for the first session (this might depend on the number of other participants at the time). The instructors were kind and took care of me when I got seasick. I think it's a good idea for those prone to seasickness to take precautions and report their condition to the instructors as needed. During the last dive, we explored a sunken ship. It was dark and visibility was poor, which made it thrilling and enjoyable in its own way. I forgot to take photos during the dive, but there were animals on the island. I highly recommend this diving tour to everyone!
The instructor was very attentive and mindful of my physical condition. During my first dive, I was too nervous, so the instructor blew some bubble rings to play with, which slowly helped me relax. For my second dive, I had a severe headache, so we paused. The third dive spot was very close, but the instructor accommodated my request and had the boat take us directly above the shipwreck, allowing me to experience a back-roll entry. There were three shipwrecks in the sea, and seeing them was truly amazing! Initially, you don't see the entire ship; you might first spot a mast, or the bow, or the side lines of the hull, and then as you get closer, more becomes visible. Because the ship is much larger than a person, being next to it or above it makes you feel a sense of grandeur (even though they were just small fishing boats). Looking into the ship from the outside or above, it's very dark, mysterious, and deep. The instructor even blew bubble rings from above the deck into the interior; only one bubble ring was brightly lit, and following it, you could feel the depth within the darkness, which was really cool. Plus, because it's an artificial reef, there were many fish and even purple corals inside.
My coach was very friendly, and the underwater world was rich with beautiful marine life. They also offered a photo service. I'll definitely sign up again next time I visit.
Trois plongées autour du corail et de l'épave, une qualité d'eau et une vie marine assez bonnes, et il y a aussi des guides de plongée adéquats pour assurer la sécurité.
The water was a bit murky, but the second coral site was incredibly clear. The schooling of barracudas at the third shipwreck site was fantastic. It was a shame we visited during a time when visibility wasn't great, but I have no regrets. I took a Grab taxi to Jesselton Point jetty, and you can find Baby Shark Divers there.
