Despite the forecast for rain, the weather at both sites remained mostly dry, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the peak of the autumn foliage at two stunning locations. Because the leaves were wet, their colors appeared even more vivid. We also saw rainbows, twice on the way to Naruko-kyo and at the gorge itself. Our guide, Shun-san, was friendly and very knowledgeable. He spoke not only about the history and geography of the area, but also shared great tips on things to do and places to eat in Sendai. He even told us about a Dragon Quest event and a Pokémon shop—his stories were very interesting ! Overall, the tour was fantastic and it has become one of our most memorable trips! Thank you very much!
The itinerary was perfectly timed, and visiting during the autumn foliage season allowed us to witness the breathtaking sight of hillsides covered in vibrant red maple leaves, and even a rainbow 🌈! I also want to commend our guide, Shun, who was very diligent and responsible in explaining each stop, even preparing hand-drawn maps and photos for clarification. We were extremely satisfied and enjoyed this one-day tour!
Our tour guide, Yoshi-san from Japan, was enthusiastic and cheerful, introducing the itinerary and sharing interesting personal anecdotes in English. He was also very responsible, guiding the group at each attraction, which made this trip even more wonderful.
The tour guide, Yoshi san, is very polite and responsible. We learned a lot about the culture, food, and history of the sightseeing spots from his detailed explanation. Both Ginzan Hot Spring and Narukokyo Gorge are gorgeous and worth visiting.
We joined a one-day maple leaf viewing tour. Although the autumn leaves in early November hadn't fully changed color, they were still very beautiful. The tour guide also meticulously introduced the attractions. However, due to recent bear sightings in the Tohoku region, there was some concern. The guide reminded everyone not to venture onto secluded paths. Overall, it was a worthwhile tour.
This itinerary includes two locations: Ginzan Onsen and Naruko Gorge. This timing perfectly coincides with the peak autumn foliage season in the Tohoku region, so you definitely won't be disappointed as the maple leaves are all turning red. This is especially true for the charming Ginzan Onsen.
The weather forecast for October 31, 2025, predicted 100% rain, but fortunately, it was only cloudy during the tour. Our guide, Elina, is from Taiwan, so it was a pleasant surprise to meet someone from home. We had ample time to spend at Ginzan Onsen and Naruko Gorge, the weather was comfortable, and the autumn foliage was stunning. I am very satisfied with this trip!
A highly recommended trip for the autumn foliage! Our guide was so nice. He shared lots of stories about Sendai and even showed us actual pictures of the places we were going to visit during the briefing. The drive was comfortable and they made sure to have a stop for restroom breaks. The places we visited were in peak autumn foliage. The time we spent at each spot was adequate for us to see everything and have a meal. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
