A beautiful cruise with commentary in both Japanese and English. This round trip cruise was very picturesque and well worth doing.

Take a boat trip to Songdo Island, where over two hundred small islands float on the emerald sea. The sea breeze carries the scent of fresh oysters, creating a healing seascape unique to the Northeast.

The ticket counter is at the boarding area. Be careful not to go to other places and pick up tickets just because you see a ticket window! The ticketing staff will still ask you to go straight to the right. Also, don't cut your ticket collection time too close, as boats depart on the hour, and you'll be in a rush to board! Once on board, take photos of the bay view from inside, and you can generally match the islands you see with those introduced in the brochure.

The ticket office staff were very friendly, and the process of exchanging tickets was smooth. The sightseeing boat was new, spacious, and comfortable. Although it was very windy, the boat remained stable, and the journey experience was excellent.

A relaxing boat cruise where you get to see one of the most acclaimed sights of Japan. The numerous tiny islands dotting the landscape makes for gorgeous photo opportunities which you will have ample time to do so. Recommended to book in advance as the popular time slots can be snapped up quickly

A must do when visiting Matsushima bay! You collect the tickets from the Resthouse near the pier and select a session. Today's route was a loop around the islands starting and ending in Matsushima with commentary provided in several languages. Views were fantastic even in the overcast. Staff were friendly. Great way to see the beauty of Matsushima Bay!

This was my last visit to one of Japan's Three Great Views. I recently went to Ha Long Bay, and the atmosphere here was somewhat similar, making me appreciate the beauty of Japanese tourist spots. I'd love to visit again, but be aware that trains can get crowded during long weekends and holidays! You absolutely must experience the boat ride! I also recommend making reservations in advance for long weekends and holidays, just to be safe!

It was a very special experience, especially since there weren't many people on the boat we took. The indoor seating on the second floor was comfortable, and watching the scenery outside was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable!

We bought the boat tickets two days before departure. It's about a 40-50 minute drive from Sendai city center. There were 4-5 boat operators offering services, giving it a real summer vacation vibe.

It was really convenient. We just showed the code at the pier and quickly exchanged it for boat tickets. Someone directed us to the correct queue for boarding. The weather that day was beautiful, and all the photos turned out lovely.
