We originally wanted to visit here back in 2017, but had no idea it was actually so close to the Orsay Museum. Definitely a bucket-list item checked off this trip. I ended up liking it much more than I expected. On the day of our visit, it seemed like someone wealthy or famous was hosting a wedding there that evening, so it was also really interesting to watch the staff setting up elaborate flowers and tents while the bride and groom were taking elegant photos around the building.

Rodin's sculptures are incredible, and seeing them both in the gallery and situated throughout the beautiful gardens was so moving. Rodin certainly had a skill for capturing intense emotions in the faces and body postures of his creations. I was pleased to see that the buildings were accessible with ramps and a lift for visitors who require support for their mobility. The buildings were magnificent in their size and the attention to detail in the museum gallery. The staff were helpful and friendly. My only wish is that there would be more miniature sculptures of the feminine sculptures available for sale in the gift shop. However, there are plenty of beautiful pieces available, including postcards, to take home as reminders of this wonderful place.

My first personal visit to the Rodin Museum in Paris was in 1998, when Paris was hosting the World Cup, and the city was filled with enthusiastic fans and travelers from all over the world. Twenty-seven years later, in 2025, I brought my beloved wife to the City of Lights, Paris, and revisited the Rodin Museum. The famous sculptures such as The Gates of Hell, The Thinker, and The Kiss, whether displayed inside the museum or in the outdoor garden, are exquisitely crafted and breathtaking. My wife and I strolled through, admired them, and had a romantic and unforgettable experience.

Musée Rodin is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of works by the father of modern sculpture, Auguste Rodin. The breathtaking gardens make a visit to the Musée Rodin totally worth it on their own.

J'adore ce musée. C'était un ancien hôtel avec un magnifique jardin à l'arrière. Auguste Rodin est un tel talent. L'histoire de la façon dont cet hôtel Biron est devenu un musée. Mon préféré est Le Penseur.

The Rodin Museum has a rich collection, and its garden is also a must-see attraction, well worth the admission price! As long as you book a time slot in advance on the official website, even if you have to queue for 5 minutes upon arrival, you can still get through quickly, which is really convenient. Especially when traveling abroad, time is even more precious, and avoiding queues as much as possible is key!

Even on a Sunday, the Rodin Museum isn't crowded. It's divided into an outdoor area and a two-story indoor section, making it a peaceful and pleasant place to explore. If you appreciate sculptural art, it's definitely a must-visit!
