The Musée d'Orsay in Paris exceeded my expectations. Although smaller than the Louvre, its layout made it much easier to navigate, and above all, having Impressionist masterpieces gathered in one place made for a truly enjoyable viewing experience. Even for someone not very knowledgeable about art, many of the paintings were familiar, which made it even more engaging. The building itself, a former train station converted into a museum, was particularly impressive, and the large clock window offered a great spot for photos. However, it was a bit difficult to appreciate the famous works at leisure due to the crowds, but overall, I felt it was a museum that could be enjoyed without feeling overwhelmed.
Every museum is wonderful, but this one is simply breathtaking. I lost track of time, completely engrossed in the masterpieces. I didn't use an audio guide; instead, I took photos with my smartphone and had an AI guide me, which was perfect. The artworks are analog, but the guide is AI. The explanation said to enter from C, but on-site, I was told to enter from 2. The entrance for those without tickets was 1, by the Seine River. Entrance 2 was on the plaza side.
The Musée d'Orsay is definitely one of the most stunning art venues in Paris! The building itself, converted from an old railway station, is incredibly distinctive. It houses a vast collection of precious Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces by artists like Monet, Van Gogh, and Renoir. Seeing these original works up close is truly breathtaking. I highly recommend it to all lovers of classical art.
The museum is very large, making it difficult to walk through the entire exhibition! There's so much to explore, and it's wonderful to appreciate the beautiful paintings and sculptures by great artists. The artists from those days were truly amazing, and I loved the 'watch eyes' on top and the restaurant too. Come and join us at Orsay; you won't regret it.
I just love this place because I can see my dream Impressionist paintings all in one place. It's so impressive how close I could get to stare at the beautiful paintings :)
Highly recommended! I remember the ticket prices were similar on-site, but by ordering online, you can scan your code and enter without queuing. After exploring, I truly felt it was worth the visit. I learned about Renoir and admired many Impressionist paintings. The Musée d'Orsay is a museum converted from an old train station, and in addition to paintings, it houses many other artworks. You can even see the Seine River from its windows!
