This trip to Bangkok coincided with the durian buffet event at Baiyoke Sky Hotel, and honestly, the overall experience was even better than expected. First, the quality of the durian was genuinely good. The main offering, Monthong durian, was perfectly ripe, with full, fleshy pulp – none of that watery or underripe texture. The sweetness was also consistent; you could tell almost every piece was carefully selected. Replenishment was prompt, so there was no need to constantly queue. Besides eating durian directly, their extended durian dishes were quite varied. The durian sticky rice was fragrant and not overly sweet; the durian smoothie was refreshing and helped cut through the richness, perfect for summer; and there was also grilled durian, which had a richer flavor and is a relatively uncommon preparation, definitely worth trying. The hot food section was also more substantial than anticipated, offering items like river prawns, steak, and bacon-wrapped chicken, not just fruit. Paired with various fruits and local Thai creative snacks, it allowed for a change of palate, preventing durian fatigue, which was a big plus. Another highlight was the opportunity to visit the observation deck. After eating, you could go directly to the 77th and 84th floors to see the Bangkok skyline, especially around sunset. The view was excellent, and it wasn't overly crowded, making it a cost-effective experience that combined "eating" and "sightseeing." Given the environment and offerings, I found the price reasonable. It's suitable for those who already love durian to indulge to their heart's content. If you're a durian enthusiast or happen to be in Bangkok during this time, you can give it a try; overall, you won't be disappointed.

The fresh durian is excellent, carefully selected and graded. If you have a preference for the texture, just let our staff know. You can even sample it before taking it to your table. We highly recommend the Nam Tok Shabu, it's incredibly delicious with options for both beef and pork. The crispy fried oyster omelet is also a must-try, along with fresh seafood like grilled river prawns, grilled squid, and various shells, all served with a spicy seafood dipping sauce that pairs perfectly. As for the steak, the beef is tender and not chewy. If you prefer your steak medium-rare, they can grill it to your liking, just like they did for us. They also offer pork and chicken steak options for those who don't eat beef. For dessert, we chose the durian khanom krok, which was wonderfully sweet and fragrant with coconut milk. The baked durian with caramel sauce was also perfectly sweet and aromatic. Enjoying these while taking in the view, we found the price to be incredibly worthwhile. Plus, you can go up to the top floor to enjoy the view even more.

It's amazing! If you love durian, you absolutely must come here. 💗💗 We were so happy; they have unlimited durian! And there are many other dishes to eat too. We ate so much, we want to come back again. We recommend the fantastic pork shabu-shabu and the spicy fruit salad. The durian pancakes are incredibly soft and bouncy! And don't forget the oyster omelet! 👍🏻🫶🏻💯

So worth it for durian lovers 😍✨ There were so many types of durian to choose from creamy to rich and intense, and you could try some before picking your favorite. I also liked that they had other options like seafood and steak. It was also my first time trying an exclusive menu called “Khao Chae,” which was really interesting. Highly recommend!

Superb experience! Baiyoke Sky Hotel staff is nice and helpful throughout the voucher redemption. Various buffet food with tons of seafood, Thai desserts, and fruit juices. Could even enjoy the stunning sunset view while dining. Highly recommended activity!!!

Amazing experience! Went a little bit earlier, so we had more time to spend on a 77 floor observation deck. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything from sushi and prawns to pancakes and desserts! The rotation deck on 84th floor is breathtaking! Don't think about it too much, just get a ticket and go!

The buffet is really nice, it's not a Michelin star restaurant but service is quick and there's a wide variety of freshly made meals available. After having dinner you can go all the way up to the rotating skydeck where you can enjoy a fabulous view of the city! All in all it's an affordable experience that I think everyone visiting Bangkok should go to!

Delicious and varied food, an international buffet with Japanese, Thai, Western, Chinese, and Indian dishes, as well as bakery items. The mango sticky rice is very delicious. Water, tea, and coffee are included. There's a short magic show during the meal for children to enjoy. Food is refilled continuously. If you arrive before your mealtime, you can go up to enjoy the view outside. The view is beautiful, offering a panoramic sight of Bangkok.
