Tokori Wagyu BBQ - Ueno/ Shinjuku/ Asakusa

Located in the NOWA building, but at first, I couldn't figure out why the elevator wouldn't go to that floor. Perhaps it was because they weren't open yet? Luckily, a staff member appeared later and resolved the issue. The set meal portions weren't large, but you could add 600 JPY to increase the meat portion, which was nice.

It was very fast-paced, and I felt a bit rushed. The meal set is okay, but I really wonder if it's worth the price, as you were basically only offered 8 small cuts of meat. Anyway, it was a good experience.

The staff spoke Chinese and enthusiastically helped us take photos 📷! The food was delicious and plentiful. The Korean cold noodles were springy, and the bibimbap was also amazing 👍🏻! We ordered the most basic set meal, and everyone was super full!

It's very convenient to book online in advance. You can also add extra items. The store has staff who speak Chinese, which is very helpful. Communication is not a problem. The location is very convenient, right next to JR Ueno Station.

The beef is rich in fat, making it melt-in-your-mouth. The Shinjuku branch is located in the Shinjuku NOWA building and has a self-service area where you can get snacks and drinks. It's not crowded during weekday lunches. On that day, I brought an extra person to eat, so we ordered other dishes separately.

The set meal includes a 2-hour all-you-can-drink (alcoholic beverages) option. You can be seated early, and the staff will ask for the name used for the reservation. The dining environment is excellent, and the wagyu beef in the set meal is superb!

I had yakiniku. The meat [premium Japanese beef short rib] was tender and very delicious. Side dishes and desserts were all-you-can-eat. The quality of the side dishes was high, and everything I ate was delicious. Also, soft drinks were all-you-can-drink. You can enjoy all of this leisurely in a semi-private room.

Upon entering the restaurant and presenting the voucher, the staff seemed confused, saying I had a reservation but hadn't paid yet. It took several back-and-forth confirmations before they started serving the food. My mood was ruined, and I just wanted to enjoy a nice wagyu BBQ set meal! I booked this set meal on Klook for $2162, only to find out at the restaurant that it was just an ¥8000 set meal without drinks! It wouldn't have been this expensive if I had gone to the restaurant directly. Definitely do not book this package again; I was ripped off! Aside from the price, the quality of the meat was quite good, and I didn't smell like BBQ after eating!
