Great Thai costume experience, highly recommended with makeup, hair, and photography! Arrived at the shop around 9:00 AM that day, there were only 1-2 groups of customers, and the process was very smooth. The makeup artist first helped with makeup and hair styling, then the staff guided me to choose an outfit. The brushes are shared, so those concerned about hygiene might want to consider this; I applied my basic foundation beforehand and let the makeup artist enhance my eye makeup on-site. Although Thai makeup tends to be heavy, it looks excellent in photos! After makeup and hair were done, the staff helped select the outfit, accessories, and bag. There was a wide variety of exquisite styles. The staff were young and lovely, and they even spoke Chinese, so communication was seamless! Finally, the makeup artist matched suitable hair accessories, making the overall look both refined and beautiful—I absolutely loved it. Photography Suggestions and Experience The photoshoot duration was 2 hours. It's recommended to plan your shooting locations in advance to facilitate discussion with the staff and photographer. I chose the slightly more distant Silver Temple (suggested to take a taxi for convenience, saving time and effort), then returned to Tha Phae Gate near the shop. The Silver Temple is full of character, while Tha Phae Gate is a classic landmark. I later realized that street scenes also have a lot of charm, and I'd like to try them next time if I get the chance! My photographer was excellent and very professional. Although we communicated using simple English and body language, the process was very amusing; he mimicked poses for me, which kept me laughing. The photographer was also very thoughtful, helping to capture shots with my own camera and even taking me to a nearby small temple for a few extra shots on the way back. When shooting at Tha Phae Gate, you can pay vendors 100 Thai Baht to shoo away pigeons, creating spectacular dynamic shots and even slow-motion videos, which is particularly fun. The speed of photo completion was a pleasant surprise! It was originally estimated to take 2-3 working days, but I received them the very next afternoon. The composition and color grading of the final product were beautiful, with excellent quality. This experience was incredibly worthwhile, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try on Thai costumes or create special memories!

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Thailand and a MUST DO when you are in Chiang Mai. Like others have said, its best to arrive when they open at 9am to avoid the crowd and bring a water bottle. The girls there know how to pair the clothing and accessories well. I loved the makeup artist, she did my hair and makeup better than at my wedding 🤣 The photographer was amazing as well, he directed us how to pose and took the best pictures. Everything about this place is perfect. The makeup was flawless, the staff were friendly and could speak English, and the photographer Kooly was very friendly and guided me well on how to pose. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend the full set of Thai costume photography and makeup service! All the staff were very friendly, especially the two photographers who were very professional and joked with us, which was very nice. They also taught us how to pose and make different expressions, and helped us find different locations for shooting. The whole process was very enjoyable, and everyone was very satisfied with the photos. It was a very pleasant experience and a beautiful memory.

This was the most satisfying part of our Chiang Mai trip; my best friend and I were both extremely happy. First, the shop was clean and tidy, with a wide selection of clothes. Traditional Thai clothing is made from a single piece of fabric, wrapped around your body by a dressing assistant according to your figure and secured with pins, so it fits perfectly and is very comfortable. The dressing assistant was very gentle, light-handed, and professional. Next was the makeup and hairstyle. The makeup artist was a silver-haired teacher, and oh my goodness! The makeup was absolutely stunning. Her aesthetic sense was incredible... I just showed her the look I wanted, and she recreated it perfectly. The overall makeup wasn't heavy but was very Thai, making me look radiant and elegant. The hairstyle was also done exceptionally well; the Thai updo was particularly striking, and the hair accessories chosen were super good and perfectly matched the outfit. Finally, the accessories: necklace, bracelets, earrings, belt, and shoulder chain. All were exquisite. Highly recommended!!! The owner and staff can speak simple Chinese and English, so communication is absolutely fine, everyone can go for it with confidence. I chose the option without photography but with makeup and hair, which was about ¥250 per person? It was very much worth it. The cosmetics used were all high-end brands. If you're concerned, you can bring your own powder puff or apply your base makeup beforehand.

I chose 9 AM because I had done my research and pre-selected the Thai outfit I wanted. Upon arrival, from choosing the costume and accessories to getting my makeup done (I opted for Thai makeup for a more prominent look in photos), and then styling my hair, it took about an hour to get ready. We visited four or five spots in two hours, and the photographer was very professional, teaching us how to pose. All the staff we interacted with were incredibly nice.

Honestly... I'm left speechless by how stunning these photographs are!! From the very first moment I stepped into the studio, the ladies who did my makeup, hair and helped me pick out my outfit and accessories were all really helpful and kind! I told them what I liked and they worked their magic and made me look really pretty! The photographer was also really amazing! He helped carry my things, helped position me and gave me some water at the end of the session. Highly recommend doing this!!

Everything was super! The staff was lovely, the makeup was done perfectly, and you could choose your own costume – a great selection! The photographer was a pro; the photos turned out gorgeous, with great lighting and composition! I am incredibly happy and recommend it to everyone!!!
