It's best to make a reservation in advance. The food is excellent. As soon as you sit down, a pot of clear tea is served, which is light and refreshing. I ordered chilled okra with jellyfish skin, steamed eel with yellow chili, and the soup was seaweed and winter melon soup. All the dishes tasted wonderful. A large bowl of rice was provided, along with a small dessert of mung bean paste. I finished everything!
We arranged a three-day, two-night resort stay in Cotai, Macau, and finally had time to try Monsoon Hot Pot at Altira Macau. It's an all-you-can-eat hot pot for two and a half hours, with individual pots. We waited a bit for the first round of food and were very happy to eat fish head and spicy noodles.
The food quality is excellent, and the chef is very dedicated to culinary research; you can taste the effort. It's worth revisiting. Highly recommended, an unexpected surprise.
The food was served efficiently, and the staff were polite. However, the shuttle bus from Altira to other City of Dreams hotels was extremely unreliable. We waited from 1 PM until 1:40 PM (the scheduled departure time was 1:10 PM) and no bus arrived.
Macau offers exquisite yet affordable cuisine, making it a popular destination for tourists. Although the Altira Macau does not provide a free shuttle bus service from the Macau Peninsula or the ferry terminal to the hotel, which has always made transportation inconvenient, taking a bus to the restaurant to enjoy its refined Chinese delicacies is well worth it.
We were very happy to have a delicious and satisfying dinner. Although the portions weren't large, the appetizer of okra mixed with jellyfish head was delightfully sweet and sour, making it a great start. Choosing the steamed eel with yellow chopped chili was definitely the right decision; the fish was springy, and the seasoning was outstanding – highly recommended. And with taro sago for dessert, it was perfect.
A large bowl of soup and generous portions of dishes, more than enough for one person. Excellent service!
The food is very fresh, and the service is excellent. Using KLOOK vouchers is very convenient. Highly recommended! The food is very fresh, and the service is excellent. Using KLOOK vouchers is very convenient. Highly recommended!
Altira Monsoon Restaurant offers a comfortable environment and a diverse menu, blending home-style flavors with Sichuan and Hunan characteristics. Seafood, dim sum, and stir-fries are all popular, and the hot pot in the evening is a signature dish. With friendly service and reasonable prices, it is highly favored by both locals and tourists, consistently receiving excellent reviews.
The quality of the all-you-can-eat hotpot seafood is quite good. Although there aren't many varieties, it's more than enough for me. The environment and staff service are also excellent.
