Tour por Pamukkale e Hierápolis com Almoço saindo de Antalya/Kemer

The driver and tour guide were both excellent and very professional in their explanations. They also cared about whether we could understand. Because the journey was long, they took us to a rest stop in the morning to use the restroom and have breakfast. On the way back, they also took us to a rest stop. Upon arriving at Pamukkale, they first gave an explanation, and then we had free time. I can only say that Pamukkale is very large, with many historical sites. It's impossible to walk the entire route, so you can only choose the places you are interested in visiting. Lunch was a buffet, where you could choose your favorite items, but drinks were extra.

The trip to Pamukkale was very worth the journey! We had an early pickup at 3:30am from Antalya and our group was combined with another which went on the hot air balloons. We did not go on the balloon and instead went to a lake and walked around. We then visited the main attraction and spent 2 hours there. Overall very worth doing and the views are undeniably beautiful. Our guide Ekrem was also very informative and passionate!

It was wonderful to see the traces of Turkish history with my own eyes. The remnants of Hierapolis were majestic, the amphitheater's appearance was grand, and the hot spring water shimmered brilliantly with an emerald glow. From Antalya to Pamukkale, it takes about 4 hours by bus. Therefore, please note that the tour pickup time is quite early. (It varies slightly depending on the accommodation's location, but in my case, the pickup time was 5:10 AM.) During the journey, we stopped twice at a rest area for breakfast and a break. You can buy souvenirs if you wish, but the choice is entirely yours. The person who assisted me on my tour was a guide named 'Osman'. He was excellent, providing detailed explanations from simple history to the origin of the name 'Pamukkale' and descriptions of each historical site. (The explanations are given in English) Since it's a history-related narrative, some explanations might be difficult to understand, but you don't need to worry too much as most of the content can be understood by using tools like ChatGPT. As the saying goes, 'the more you know, the more you see, and the more you see, the more you feel,' so I believe that if you research a little about Pamukkale and Turkish history before starting the tour, it will be an even more enriching experience. For your information, although it's called a hot spring, the water wasn't as warm as I expected. (As of September 29, 2025) The water pooled on the ground was rather cold, and only the water flowing through the valleys had a little warmth. (Mainly children were splashing around in the water). You must take off your shoes to enter the hot spring area, so it's a good idea to prepare a plastic bag or a small bag for your shoes in advance. Also, the ground is more uneven than expected, which can make your soles ache. For this reason, some tourists wore aqua shoes.

We had a great experience on the day tour. The service was punctual and well coordinated, and our guide was friendly, informative, and always happy to help. The lunch was also delicious and well arranged. The entire day went smoothly, with excellent support from start to finish. Definitely recommend!

There weren't many Korean reviews, and when I actually went, my friend and I were the only Koreans. Our guide, Levent, was very kind and explained everything well (the explanations were in English). We had about two hours of free time in Pamukkale, which was plenty of time to enjoy it! Considering that lunch, pickup, and admission (30 euros) were included, it seemed quite affordable, and it was convenient that we stopped frequently for restrooms (no extra charge). However, the lunch wasn't quite to my taste. If you're considering it, I highly recommend it!

A must-do excursion if you're in Antalya! Before talking about the site itself, I want to thank Osman, who made our experience even better with his knowledge and good humor! The bus was also the most comfortable of all our activities. The restaurant was very good: all-you-can-eat buffet with appetizers, desserts, pasta, rice, meats, vegetables, etc., in a very beautiful setting. Pamukkale is magnificent. Even if UNESCO limits the filling of the travertines to protect the site, several pools still contain water, which allows for very beautiful photos. Cleopatra's Pool, for 600 TRY, is definitely worth it. The water is extremely rich in minerals. Seriously, do it without hesitation. I have never seen thermal water of such good quality. The ancient theater was also an excellent surprise, very well preserved. The most beautiful ancient theater I have seen. I recommend it!

I had such a fun day trip to Pamukkale and Hierapolis today! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the experience became even better thanks to our guide, Osman. He explained all the history of Hierapolis in detail, one by one, in a very interesting and easy-to-understand way. You can really tell he is passionate and knowledgeable about the place. I had a great and enjoyable trip. Everyone was kind, and personally, I don't really like shopping time, so I wanted to see things quickly and move on to the next schedule. The lunch buffet was also a kind and good place, but perhaps because I'm a picky eater, there wasn't much for me to eat. What surprised me was that a Coke cost 4900 won 😱. Since hot air balloons in Cappadocia are sometimes available and sometimes not, I experienced it here. The sunrise from above and Pamukkale were also wonderful. Nevertheless, for a solo traveler, the pickup system from Antalya to this place, and from this place to the hotel, was absolutely necessary and I am grateful for it. The guide was kind, but I think it would be even better if they were a bit more proactive. It was an enjoyable trip 😊

Around 5 o'clock, the shuttle bus picked up one group of people and then met another group to board the large bus. The tour guide's English was a bit fast; it would be helpful if they could slow down for those of us whose English isn't very good. Pamukkale is definitely worth visiting. The entire trip and lunch were quite good, and we understand that a stop at a shopping store was included. The only drawback was that there were indeed too many stops, which wasted a lot of time.
