There's a shuttle service to the hotel and it drops you off at the balloon launch site. Safety is quite good; they even explain how to disembark from the balloon. The balloon ride itself isn't scary. If you can't go to Cappadocia, then Pamukkale is a good alternative. The scenery will be different; you'll see a white landscape below. If you come to Turkey, I recommend taking a hot air balloon ride.

Adding some photos from my hot air balloon ride in Pamukkale before~ The weather was great and the photos turned out super beautiful ❤️ They look even better than the ones from Cappadocia. Blue skies really make a difference in photos. I flew with Falcon Balloon, and I personally think they fly better. My Cappadocia balloon photos all looked so small, and the balloons drifted too far away, plus there were too many people. The grey sky photos didn't look as good either. I highly recommend this one~ I bought the photos for $20 USD (originally $30 USD/20 EUR, I negotiated it down to $20 USD). They sent them via Google Drive, and I received them that same afternoon. And a pro tip: remember to get on early and choose a spot in the corner of the basket for better photos~ They now take 360-degree photos, so you need to stand a bit further out to be seen (or be taller 😆). The price seems to change; it was $105 USD when I booked, but today I saw it's almost $150. Maybe it depends on the weather and how many people are flying.

We were a party of 5 and booked ahead in the UK for our balloon flight over Pamukkale. I was a little anxious when I hadn’t heard anything a couple of days before so sent a WhatsApp message, from that communication was great and very encouraging. Again I was anxious when the minibus was 15 mins late collecting us but I needn’t have been. The whole experience was amazing, our pilot was very skilled and entertaining, we all felt in very safe hands. Also I was pleased to note that our balloon had no holes in it as some of the others appeared to 😳. I cannot recommend this company enough, professional, affordable and you get everything you would paying four times the price which some other packages seem to charge

Share the detailed process. 1. After booking, it is recommended to add the operator's WhatsApp to confirm and arrange pick-up in advance. 2. On the day, the driver will go to the hotel reception to ask for you and confirm you get on the minibus. Large luggage is not allowed. 3. Upon arrival at the hot air balloon launch site, you will be taken to the hot air balloon you are going to ride, where you can see the inflation and preparation process. 4. Board the hot air balloon. Before take-off, you will be asked if you want to buy the video footage for 160 USD, or if everyone can share the cost, paying 10 USD per person. A download link will be provided. I personally bought it but felt it was unnecessary. 5. You will be taught and practice the posture for landing: squat down and hold onto the ropes. 6. Take off. I personally found it a great experience. After about 45 minutes, you will land in a different location. The pick-up driver will follow to pick you up. 7. The hot air balloon deflates, you drink champagne, receive a certificate, and then you are sent back to your hotel or a designated place, ending the trip. If you bought the video, you will be given a business card to add the contact and then receive the link.

Original plan was to experience the hot air balloon in Cappadocia, but it was unfortunately cancelled due to the weather. Decided to try instead in Pamukkale as they have this too, and it did not disappoint.

It was a fun experience. The early morning pickup came on time right in front of the hotel, which was reassuring. It was also reassuring that all passengers traveled together. The number of people in the basket was spacious, making for a comfortable flight. Seeing Pamukkale from above helped me understand the entire area much better.

It was a very nice experience, first time done and enjoyed a lot, the weather was amazing, it's above 1000 meters from sea level. Staff are nice.

The view is very good, but the transfer also involves exchanging money.

The pick-up was a few minutes late, but that was fine; the hot air balloon ride was absolutely fantastic! We saw the balloon being inflated on the ground, expanding, and then ascending. The flight was very stable in the air. It was a truly rare experience, full marks! 💯

The agent was supposed to inform us of the hotel pick-up time for the hot air balloon ride the day before, but unfortunately, they were not punctual. At the time, I was a bit worried about missing the ride. However, the experience of watching the sunrise from a hot air balloon was absolutely fantastic!
