The company we booked the tour with organized everything wonderfully. The departure schedule there and back was strictly adhered to. The car was very comfortable for the long journey. The driver also did his job very well. I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Khao Kheo individually...

First was great, he picked me up and dropped me back on time. he is fabulous and very polite and helpful. the car and driving is top notch. he helped booked the golf cart too. I had a lot of fun. 10/10 would recommend.

The driver didn't speak much English, but the overall experience was good! As long as everyone meets the driver at the designated time (we met in the hotel lobby), you'll depart on time! There's an 80 Thai Baht parking fee to pay at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo. After dropping us off, the driver first took us around the pink zone, and also got out to let us see animals like primates and ligers (this also saved us from having to walk up later). After touring the pink zone, we were dropped off near the food court (by the 7-Eleven). At that point, you can agree on a departure time with the driver and write down their phone number; it's best to call each other to confirm. We used a Thai translation to show the driver that we would get picked up at the same spot after we finished and would call him (here, pay special attention to ensure Google Translate is accurate; repeatedly switch between Chinese and Thai to confirm, or use AI translation if needed). We left early, and the driver indeed showed up at the agreed location! So, as long as you're prepared, there's no need to worry too much! Plus, the driver was very nice and thoughtful!

I joined because I wanted to meet the popular baby hippos. After applying, the tour company contacted me several times (phone calls were in English, so we communicated via email and WhatsApp), and I felt relieved because they were very polite and kind in their suggestions. I had prior information that there would be traffic jams on the way to Khao Kheow Open Zoo, so I consulted with them and arranged for an earlier pick-up. Also, I was able to request an extension fee of 300 baht per hour per vehicle, so I informed them of my desired time, taking traffic into consideration. (It was also possible to move the time forward.) On the day, the driver picked me up early and loaded my large luggage. The car was comfortable, so the two-hour journey from Bangkok was pleasant. The driver was also very kind, attentive to various things, and listened to my requests. Since I don't speak much English, I used a translation app and communicated via LINE. Thinking I had to line up for the popular hippos first, I went to the Green Zone and entered at 8 AM. Since it was a weekday, I was able to see them after waiting for 15-20 minutes. I also wanted to see other shows, so I went around to various places. I felt that the cart rental was chaotic and like a lawless zone, and there was a long wait, so I recommend the all-you-can-ride shuttle bus (35 baht). It doesn't take long to walk to the hippo zone. Considering the return time, I asked the driver to enter the Pink Zone around 1 PM. It seems there's an additional entrance fee of 80 baht, but when I showed the Green Zone admission certificate (ticket stub? or tram wristband), I was able to enter with the car without an additional charge. (It was somewhat lenient.) The Pink Zone was almost a mountain road that would take a long time to walk around, and within it were the tiger and lion zones. I entered with the feeling that I had to see everything and had the driver drive me around, but it seemed okay whether I went here or not (lol). It gets crowded in the evening, so if the return time had been exceeded, an additional charge might have occurred. It might be good to confirm this. The driver adjusted the schedule to make it on time, which was a great help. It was a very good deal, including the zoo fee, as we traveled safely and comfortably. (Parking fee of 120 baht is separate.)

I joined because I wanted to see baby hippos. It was a valuable experience to be able to feed various animals. Regarding participation, an email with the meeting time arrived around 6 PM the day before, and on the day of the tour, they picked me up at the hotel at 8 AM and we departed! It's smoother if you print and bring your voucher. As we approached the zoo, the signal got bad, and I panicked a bit when I couldn't open the voucher screen on my smartphone during the admission process. Also, the signal was completely lost in some parts of the zoo. I think it's a good idea to confirm the meeting place for the return trip with the guide. The zoo is such a fun and exciting place to visit. It's filled with a wide variety of animals from all around the world. From majestic lions and tigers to playful monkeys and adorable pandas, there's something for everyone to enjoy. One of the best parts about the zoo is that they often have shows and interactive experiences where you can learn more about the animals and even get up close and personal with some of them. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can try out the thrilling zip line that gives you a unique perspective of the zoo from above. Plus, with all the coffee shops and restaurants scattered throughout the zoo, you'll never go hungry or thirsty. We went to Khao Kheaw Open Zoo with our 3-year-old daughter & 8-month-old baby. The driver Mr. Teerawat is very punctual and standby near our home 10mins earlier. He is very nice, friendly and helpful. The van is clean and tidy. His driving is safe. For the zoo, we like this Open Zoo more than Safari World somehow. Mostly becuz you can rent a golf cart/Electric Tricycle and drive thru the Green Zone of the zoo by yourselves. We rented an Electric Tricycle, which allows us to take our time and check out each spot at our own pace. Plus, with the vehicle, baby stroller is not needed for our kids. It’s more convenient! Tips: Rent the golf cart/ Electric Tricycle once you arrive the Zoo in the morning, especially during public holiday. Or else, you have to line up long to wait for it. The zoo is more well-maintained than I thought. Animals are at good conditions. Several coffee shops are available for you to take a break. Be careful of the wild monkies, don’t leave any food/ plastic bags on your golf cart. They will steal and eat your food when you are away. Some monkies are even acting fiercely and steal the food in front of coffee shop customers at the terrace seats. Bring tissue with you. Like other local Thai public toilets, they don’t provide toilet papers at the toilets. To conclude, we had a very good time here even though the weather is very hot.

It was a pleasant one-day trip to explore the zoo. The driver was punctual in picking us up from our hotel, and there were no communication issues. Although there was an initial delay in receiving email confirmation from Klook's partner, it was resolved quite quickly. The purpose of this trip was to catch a glimpse of the famous Moo Deng. In general, the zoo was huge. Try to go on a weekend when animal feeding is open to the public. The driver waited for us while we explored the green zone at our own pace. We just needed to pay for parking. I recommend this activity.

It was a good day. The driver was very nice and helpful. He's going to help you get the tickets. The only thing is, we were asked for 80 baht more for the parking spot. So just bring some extra cash! For the rest, amazing day!
