Excursão Privativa ao Zoológico Aberto de Khao Kheow

This zoo allows you to see animals relatively close up in a vast natural environment. Both the Green Zone and Pink Zone are worth seeing, but feeding experiences are only available in the Green Zone, where you can feed rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and capybaras. Many suggest watching the elephant show first and then taking photos with the elephants, but surprisingly, elephants often don't eat the food, taking it with their trunks and then discarding it on the ground. Giraffes, on the other hand, eat everything you give them and make for great photos, so I personally recommend the giraffes. Monkeys can often be aggressive, so it's best not to leave any belongings on the cart. The two hours for cart return fly by quickly when you're feeding animals, so manage your time well. For the elephant show, watching for just 5 minutes is enough as the rest is repetitive, so watching quickly and moving on is an option. Our driver, Tamm, assigned by Klook, was very kind and gentle, taking photos and guiding us, making for a smooth and comfortable journey. We had no concerns about the driver at all.

We had a fantastic time at the zoo! We arrived around 9am and were really glad we got there early before it became busy. We chose not to rent a golf cart as we enjoy walking. The zoo is absolutely massive, but the scenery is beautiful and the animals appear to be very well cared for. In about three hours we managed to see everything we wanted to and more. There was a small misunderstanding with our driver about the timing as we initially thought he was telling us we only had two hours in the zoo. In fact, he was trying to help by offering to drive us to the pink zone after two hours so we wouldn’t have to walk the whole distance, which was thoughtful! By the time we realised what he meant, though, we were already halfway around the park. The only thing we found a little tricky was navigating back to the starting point. There are plenty of maps, but because the zoo is so openplan it took us a while to find our way back. Overall, a really enjoyable visit and definitely worth going early!

El conductor fue puntual, muy amable y considerado. El zoológico es muy bonito y divertido, ¡y es realmente grande! Recomiendo alquilar el carrito de golf, ¡lo hace aún más divertido! Y, por supuesto, lo más destacado del viaje fue Moodeng. Es tan bonita y pequeña, ¡qué monada! El único inconveniente es que el zoológico no acepta tarjetas en ningún sitio, ni en las tiendas de recuerdos ni en los restaurantes, así que ¡prepárense con efectivo!

We had an amazing time. The experience is superb. Highly recommended to those who want to have a close encounter with wild animals as they roam freely in the area, making this trip extraordinary and one for the books for all of us. Special thanks to our driver, Mr. Tuu, who exceeded our expectations and provided all the help he could offer, making it convenient and super fun for all of us. Super worth it. A must-try, indeed.

Worth it especially if you’re staying in Bangkok. The private car will fetch you on time outside your designated hotel. Our driver was very friendly. This package already includes the entrance to the zoo. He drove us from hotel to the zoo. By 1:30 to 2 we returned to the parking lot so our driver can drop us off back home. He was accommodating enough to ask where we prefer to be dropped off, and so we asked him to drop us off somewhere else. Thank you so much! Will highly recommend this to my friends!

Loved the experience! They arranged a taxi to pick us up and drop us back off at our hotel; we asked to go at 7am to avoid crowds and they were very accommodating. The driver that picked us up was on time and very friendly. The zoo is divided into different sections and you have to drive to some of the sections. The driver spoke basic English, but that was no problem at all as he was clear on showing us what section we are at in the map and where to start and end the section and where he'd pick us up. He let us explore the sections on our own. We enjoyed the driver! We said our priority was moo deng and he guided us right to her; We went on a Wednesday morning and there was no line so we got to see her immediately!!! We enjoyed seeing the other animals in the zoo as well! You can even interact with some of them such as feeding them. We were content with walking in each section instead of getting golf cart - we saw each animal for a few min and took some photos and moved to the next.

We had a great first-time visit to the Khao Kheow Open Zoo, made even better by the excellent service from Mr. Phongsan. He provided round-trip transportation from Bangkok and even offered to drive the golf cart inside the zoo if needed — perfect for those who aren’t confident driving themselves. Mr. Phongsan speaks Thai and basic English, which made communication smooth and the trip more comfortable. We spent about 3 hours inside the zoo, which was just right for seeing the highlights without feeling rushed. We booked through Klook, and their service was just as impressive. The staff responded quickly in English and answered all our questions before and during the trip. Overall, this was a very convenient and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a worry-free zoo trip from Bangkok!

We dont usually go for zoos in our trips but this one is an exemption! Saw Moo Deng and drove a golf cart. Very fun activity for the family.
