This time, I brought Dede to Wanpi World in Tainan. The sun in Tainan was incredibly enthusiastic. I wanted to go back to the hotel after less than ten minutes of walking around the park 😆. Dede also kept sitting in the stroller, unwilling to walk, and even pulled up the rain cover on the stroller to avoid the sun 😎. Wanpi World is currently the only zoo in Tainan. It covers an area of 20 hectares and features a semi-open viewing style. The park has a Cute World, an exquisite garden area, an amphibian and reptile museum, a plant viewing area, a butterfly house, and offers horse riding, park tours by car, and theater performances. You can also see peacocks walking around everywhere. 🚀 Guardian Interstellar Training Hall There is also a large amusement facility area here, themed with a pixel universe video game style. It has 5 large amusement rides: Spinning Pegasus, Rapid UFO, Screaming Spaceship, Speeding Coaster, and Space Airship. ⛲️ Children's Themed Playground Features a large sandpit with a 3D climbing frame, bird's nest swings, a hill climbing net, climbing frames, slides, and a peek-a-boo tunnel. 💦 Oasis Water Park Giraffe water slide, penguin water slide, children's water play pool, spray platform, hippo bouncy castle. This area is where we stayed the longest and also the most crowded place in the park 😆.

My memories of Wanpi World have always been from childhood. For students in 8th and 9th grade, it might seem like a very uninteresting place for a school field trip. Revisiting it as an adult, I found it has improved so much! Both the space, the animals, and the flow have changed significantly. Two adults had as much fun as children. The only downside is the lack of shade, and Tainan's temperatures are rising year by year; that day, I truly felt like I was on the verge of heatstroke. By the way, there's a water play area that's quite large. If you're bringing kids to let off some steam, remember to pack swimsuits. There are also showers and coin-operated hair dryers on-site, which is quite thoughtful. However, regarding the McDonald's, I'm not sure if it was an employee issue, but we couldn't redeem anything.

Lots of cute animals, they even let you interact with some animals like goats, rabbits, and alpacas for free! Children can have a lot of fun here. Not only animals in this zoo, they also provide a pool and amusement park.

This has always been a favorite place! The environment has really improved a lot compared to before. During Chinese New Year, the on-site discount was 550 NTD. Since there were many people traveling, it would be great if it could be a little cheaper here! Capybaras are really cool creatures! However, during Chinese New Year, the parking lot usually fills up quickly. We drove around for almost half an hour at about 1 PM and couldn't find a spot (the cleaning fee is 100 NTD per entry). After leaving, someone was just leaving a roadside spot, so we parked there. If you don't mind walking, you can just park outside.

This was my first time visiting Wanpi World Safari Zoo with my family to see the animals. The park's ticket prices are quite high, but it is very well-maintained, and the animals live comfortably there. You can get very close to them, which is different from typical city zoos. We saw peacocks strolling around everywhere, and the environment and the animals' physical condition were kept very clean. You can see the dedication of the zookeepers and medical staff in caring for the animals' health, and the cleaning staff also work very hard. There are also amusement facilities for children to burn off energy. The drinks are quite expensive, so I hope the amount that can be redeemed from the ticket price for purchases can be increased.

It takes about 1.5-2 hours to get there from Tainan city center by public transport, and services are infrequent, so you need to pay attention to the schedule. The special feature of this zoo is that you can buy hay (NT$50) to feed various animals, including alpacas, horses, rabbits, goats, camels, capybaras (feeding through the fence does not require a reservation), kangaroos, and more. For some less dangerous animals, we were even allowed to enter their enclosures to feed them. The restaurants in the park are a little more expensive than in the city, but acceptable. Most of the rides were closed on the day we visited, but I still think it's very worthwhile to go there for the animal feeding experience.

This time, we visited on a weekday. We bought tickets through Klook, which also included a Starbucks discount and a NT$60 voucher for merchandise at Wanpi World. Online ticket purchases allowed for quick entry by scanning a QR code at the gate. Although some of the animals inside look a bit old, it's clear they are well-fed and thriving. Furthermore, some non-dangerous animals are kept in a semi-free-range manner, making this truly an excellent attraction.
